Man City open Bournemouth talks for Nathan Ake

Manchester City have opened talks with Bournemouth for Nathan Ake.
The Athletic reports City are in talks with Bournemouth over a deal to sign Ake when the transfer window reopens [asian handicap tips][1].
Pep Guardiola is desperate to strengthen his options at the back having lost Vincent Kompany last year and seen Liverpool run away with the title this season.
He also has concerns over John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi, while a serious injury to Aymeric Laporte coincided with a poor spell of form earlier in the campaign.
Guardiola is determined to revamp his central defence, with Ake emerging as a realistic target after being watched by City scouts for more than six months [jackpot soccer tip][2].

That would actually make a lot of sense because Stones not really good enough and Otamendi is getting a bit older. With Ake and Laporte, City could have have the basis of their defense for the five next year. What position I'm more worried for City is midfield, Rodri isn't really a good Fernandinho replacement yet and they are losing Silva as well. And if they really are banned from european competition for 2 year, they might lose De Bruyne as well from what he said in the past.

My understanding is that City need a CB very badly but that they were going to Serie A to get one.

Welp, I have no idea when exactly this happened, but it actually did. City got Ake for real. He was alway gonna leave if the club get relegated to be honest. Feel a bit bad for bournermouth. :S
