@lodatz
Take it , just ask Levy to cough out 35 million pounds for him . )))
I am sure he will sign extension and accept loan otherwise he will be on transfer list.
Really like this player , but his loud mouth just takes him no where . I hope Hazard did some talking to him .
1 or 2 years loan in La Liga will make him stronger, dont worry Marcus, if he adapts to Simeone who is very demanding of his players, he will deserve a return to the Bridge with much more experience and team work.
Its a good deal for Chelsea, not sure it is for Atletico, if he does well, they couldnt even benefit from his departure...
Thats not good if they want to compete in a long term for Atleti, it would be interesting to see him playing in Spain...
F*ck him , we do not need loud mouth like him . He talks as if he has no obligations to the club . I don't want our club to be associated with arrogant pricks . Wish him luck in transfer and he is not leaving for less than 30 million .
It is early signs of another Balotteli . In fact Balotteli has proven more by this age than Lukaku .
If you want rid of him, then, why make him so expensive?
That's not going to get rid of him....
I say we evenly split up game time with Lukaku and Costa unless one performs incredibly. He is talented and we must keep hold of him.
He does like Chelsea and has repeatedly said that he would love to start for us if he gets the chance, but Lukaku wants a permanent transfer away if he is always loaned and is not receiving respect from Mourinho. As much as I want him to stay, a permanent transfer away would be better for him than being benched or being loaned year after year.
As I've said before, Chelsea place the expensive players in the staring XI. Willian cost 37M so he broke in easily, as did Matic (Matic is amazing though and he was only 20M) De Bruyne and Thorgan are great talents. If we scouted Thorgan later (this window) and splashed 20M on him, he may have broken through into the XI.
Courtois on the other hand has remained loyal although of talks that he wants a move away, the only real youngster we bought for cheap to make it into the XI (if he does come back)
The report is indicating that Lukaku could be used to soften Atleti's stance on Filipe Luis
The Spanish press is probably lazier than the English press in creating transfer rumors, so it should come as no surprise that El Confidencial is now reporting that Chelsea have agreed to send Romelu Lukaku on loan to Atletico Madrid. El Confidencial aren't one of the more reliable papers in Europe, but blind squirrels, nuts, and all that.
As we've discussed before, another loan for the Belgian forward makes little sense unless the player signs a contract extension first, as with just two seasons remaining on his Chelsea contract, it's probably time to either cash in and let the player move on, or bring the forward back to Stamford Bridge. That said, one of the few instances where loaning the player without an extension makes sense would be this specific scenario, as Chelsea still have about half the Atletico team in their shopping cart, and a loan could help grease the wheels to complete one or more of these moves.
I think the majority would just prefer to see the big Belgian stay at Stamford Bridge this season, forming a 1-2 punch with Diego Costa that allows us to leave Fernando Torres on the compost heap. If not though, this scenario makes a bit of sense, and Atletico would be an excellent destination for Lukaku to continue his development.
