I'm happier to see Giggs as assistant manager than I am to see Van Gaal as manager. I hope Ryan Giggs takes the helm one day.

Well done United. You've got yourself a great manager. I wonder if he'll make RVP captain?

United fans a manager wont fully change the team. You guys still need to get rid of dead wood and ageing players and replace them with younger and good players. I think Van Gaal will need atleast 1 year to settle into England.

A manager can change a team fully. Look at David Moyes!

Man, I can't wait for next season. Luis might be a hotheaded coach, but he surely will bring victory back.

At least he has had some success in his carreer. I hope he's awful but there's no way he's as bad as moyes.

I look forward to some heated press conferences. Van Gaal takes no crap from journalists.

Cant wait to see Van Gaal vs Mourinho. Both have a very... interesting personality :)

He really contrasts to Moyes teddy bear personality.

As for the team, many changes need to be made, I hope that RVP being named captain is just a rumor.

I think different than the majority of people on this thread cus' I believe the team should be built around the veterans and big names on the club like Rooney, CARRICK, and RVP.

no excuses for ending below the top 4 with United, we have an amazing squad, we just need some reinforcement in defence.

i dont give a **** about who the new manager is! i am keen to see which players they are gona sign.. if united dont invest in new young quality players and lay off a bunch of garbage players in the current lot, they will finish more or less in the same position next year like they did this year!

Easier said than done, I'm more looking forward to how he's going to change the squad - our current one is atrocious

@ArsenalGunners
I wrote fully change...
And we also started to get rid of the "deadwood".
Namely Giggs, Rio, Vidic and maybe Evra.

players like Tom Cleverley, Marouane Fellaini, Patrice Evra, , Nani, Darren Fletcher and Ashley Young should be reviewed by Louis Van Gaal

also many reports have been saying United gave him around 150-200mill for the transfer
