Team GB moved 1 place on the medal table from Beijing after finishing 3rd in the medal tables, with medals on athletics, swimming, rowing and more. China and USA were the two teams ahead of GB. Here is a list of history gb made.

Here's what I thought of team GB:

Best Male Athlete: Mohamed Farrah- Won Both 10,000 and 5000 Meters
Best Female Athlete: Jessica Ennis- Won Women's Heptahelon
Surprise Athlete: Greg Rutherford - Won Men's Long Jump
GB Best Event: Rowing- Won The Most Gold Medals out of any other team
GB Worst Event: Men's Doubles Tennis- Knocked Out on 1st round
Biggest Victory: Andy Murray- Beat Roger Federer to win gold
Worst Loss: Netherlands 9-2 GB- Netherlands smash GB on hockey
Overall Medal Ranking: 3rd- 29 gold, 17 silver, 19 bronze

Post what you thought of team GB or your country in the olympics.

India : from 3 medals last time in Beijing (1G:2B) this time we won 6 medals (2S:4B) ....Rank #55

still not enough for a country whose population is 121 crores ..... feels embarassing everytime :(

Best Sportsperson : Sushil Kumar (Wrestling Silver Medal)
Best Female Athelete : M.C. Mary Com (Boxing Bronze Medal)
Worst Sportsperson : Indian Hockey Team ( 12th position without winning a single game for the 1st time in history of Olympics.)

I know games like archery are sports, but i think they should substiute these sports for the ones you guys have listed above. I am saying this because the other sports don't really push you to your limits give adreneline and the don't really use strenght or energy.

Having played archery I would disagree, there is plenty of adrenaline involved, there are enough team sports in the olympics already without the addition of something like cricket, I like cricket but it's not really an olympic sport and it doesn't get a lot of attention at the moment, I watched a game last night and there was only about 200 people at the stadium, lol.
