Sick of it! Rodgers tactics NEED to improve it isn't getting better. Struggling to take positives out of that dire performance, do we have to anally rape Rodgers screaming '2 up top' for him to realise Balotelli isn't a loan striker?! Sterling looks tired and we strongly lack creativity we relied fully on Gerrard's distribution but we had no finishing touch we need to get a new coach for the defence and attack. Give Carragher a call and offer him a job as our defence coach he has more of a clue than Rodgers, who I have now realised isn't a genius and that he was hidden under the outstanding SAS we need a kick up the arse because it's not improving, I'd be happy with 6th this season the way we are playing, we need to have a good cup run and at least get to the round of 16 stage in the UCL to have any sort of positives from this so far abysmal season.

Don't be too harsh. Without Suarez and Sturridge (injury) it isn't easy. But Rodgers is an amazing manager and Newcastle are in top form.

Agree with some of your points. I think rodgers is getting the starting XI wrong. I was really hoping that borini would play ahead of ballotelli. Simply because borini gave 110% vs swansea. His work rate and creativity is a lot better as well.

Sterling was marked every single time he had the ball. He was the only one of the top three (we played a 4-3-3) who actually did anything. It was frustrating watching him not being able to get past the defenders. Last season Suarez was marked by two defenders and sturridge was marked by 1, so this allowed sterling to have a lot of freedom. However, it seemed as though there were two players on sterling, and even with his skill he found it difficult to get past them. And I don't blame him, Newcastle's back four was very organised.

Moreno needs to understand that he is A LEFT BACK. Not a left winger. Not a left wing back. A left back. I appreiate his work rate, but the fact that he was always so far up the pitch left us vulnerable when we lost the ball. Allen had to go back to LB and a couple of times Lovren had to cover for him, which left Cisse unmarked. Right after the goal (morenos fault), his backtracking almost cost us another goal.

As for the formation, BALOTELLI CANNOT PLAY AS A LONE STRIKER. Im not sure if rodgers was present during the 3-0 win against tottenham, but balotelli played very well because he was playing in a 4-4-2 with sturridge. I wouldn't mind if borini played alongside him, but he needs someone.

These issues need to be addressed if we are to get anything from this season. Not looking forward to the madrid game. ._.
