I just wanted to post something about this and other filthy agents... I think no one knows what money goes to agents and players family ! But one day we will know that. I sick of their words like : "he dream about that club" " he likes project of that club " " no one makes offers " " It will be hard to take him,but we will listen your offers " Shiiit..
By my opinion , Real will give everything to get Bale (70 mil for Tottenham,30 to agent, 20 to father ) .
OK, so the latest dirty agent to open his bilious mouth is Gareth Bale's rep Jonathan Barnett (the same guy who was Cashley's agent whilst he was at Arsenal... good luck Spurs fans).
According to Sky, Barnett had this to say:
"If Florentino (Perez, Real president) is interested in Gareth Bale,
then that would be an honour and we would listen, but his contract is
with Tottenham," he said.
"But we are not free to talk to anyone."
Barnett also dismissed reports that Bale was on the verge of signing a new long-term deal with Tottenham.
"No, we have not talked to anybody," he said when asked a about a possible new deal.
"I do not know if there has already been an offer. What I know is that the player has three years left on his contract."...
MY VIEW: I think Daniel Levy really rates AVB, and I know AVB woun't want to let Bale go this summer, so if Levy is desperate to keep AVB happy he won't sell Bale THIS SUMMER. The problem is though that Perez is being criticized for being unable to land Neymar and as we all know, he NEEDS to make 1-2 BLOCKBUSTER signings this summer to keep the vultures from circling him. Therefore, he may push the envelope this summer and REALLY TEMPT Levy with a massive offer. Under normal circumstances, I think Levy would sell for 50-60m pounds. However, as I mentioned above, he may feel that the bigger picture would warrant his refusal. Besides, Bale said he'd like to stay for another year, and I believe him. VERDICT: Won't happen UNLESS RM PAY STUPID STUPID MONEY.
