I wonder what you guys think of this idea i have. it is based on that imo the qualifiers for WC & EC for the big countries are pointless. easy games, nearly always end top. whats the point? its boring. i think that the teams in the top 10 world rankings should instead play a League of Nations and be exempt from the qualifying campaigns. by being in the top 10 you auto qualify for WC & EC. So this league would play for over a 2 year period and just keep repeating forever. think how good a league it would be potentially.... brazil, argentina, england, portugal, spain, italy, france, holland, germany, maybe ivory coast if they could ever form a team from there stars! but you would need to be in top 10 world rankings to be in it so some teams could fall out and come in the next time the league begins again. i know some top teams arent doing well in rankings - i thniks brazil is very low at the moment. but then you need to take rankings seriously to get in the league next time. you play home and away and suddenly instead of holland v san marino it could be one week brazil v holland at the maracana and so on. we would then have an utlimate league and new trophy up there with WC and EC. plus this would leave the normal qualifiers more fair. what do you think of this idea? i play it alot on old pro evo game :)

Well, the first question is: how do you get into the Top 10, if you no longer have qualifiers by which to calculate it? ;)

yes i thought this but this is just an idea in principle and obviously needs work. well whoever ends bottom of the league will no doubt have lost a lot and therefore could fall out of the rankings. could have relegation instead perhaps...
