A comment from WAGNH that I found. I don't 100% endorse but kind of sums up feelings at the moment. lying all along.
"Lie after lie after lie. Jose confirmed that Lampard turned down a new contract at Chelsea. He has since rocked up at City on a big money contract, having served up a load of horse manure about a non-existent loan City to cover his tracks & avoid torching his relationship with Chelsea supporters. Has anyone seen the interview he gave with the baseball commentators at Yankee Stadium? If you can watch it and not get angry about the many barefaced lies he spouts, you are a better person than me.
He’s taken Chelsea fan for mugs with his sly behaviour, and given our rivals & the media a massive stick to beat us with should City win the league. Can you imagine if his goals won them the title this year? It would be like Gerrard’s slip revisited: we’d never hear the end of it from the media & rival fans, and many would demand Mourinho be sacked, which would be a disaster for the club.
So thanks for nothing Frank. Fantastic player that you were for us, your Chelsea legend status has been officially revoked in my eyes. I don’t hate you, but man up FFS and admit that money & glory at City is the reason you left us & led those poor American fans up the garden path. And don’t give us this baloney of not celebrating if you score against us again, go punch the air and high five your dark lord Pellegrino as well, I couldn’t care less.
Zola turned down a king’s ransom from Roman to go to Cagliari because he was a gentleman and a man of his word. That’s how a proper Chels legend behaves. We sing songs that rip on Gerrard, but at least that bloke ended on the right note & stated he’d never dream of joining a Premier League rival."
@Marcus2011 He just basically left the club for direct rivals. This in my eyes is worse than the Van Persie to United knowing that City are title contenders. I completely agree with you on this one. He deserves a kick in the balls from all Chelsea fans.
^Yep, basically signed from Chelsea to City on a free. New York fans are practising their booing skills according to reports. Many had bought tickets to see Frank play.
