Yeah David Villa is about to sign as well. Both on free transfer, but NYCFC will play in MLS starting in 2015 season.

MLS is a weird league. There is no history or any talent over there in the USA, the same goes for the leagues in Qatar or UAE. Old players who are almost retiring go to these leagues to make some money before they retire :D

So how does this MLS thing work??? You can form a club and start playing just like that?? They also don't have relegation like other leagues. It's a joke of a league.

It's actually a very competitive league. They dont have relegation because they use their own "college teams" policies. They have the college league and the major league just like in all of their other sports. You can form a club like in any other part of the world, the thing is, the league announced they are going to expand the number of teams so many projects started to build clubs that will eventually meet requirements in order to be in the MLS as part of the expansion.

@Iraqi_Madrista they do that because they earn a ton of money and living in America is not bad. I'm pretty sure most players would do the same.

I think its perfectly sensible for him to go to MLS atleast now that he is approaching the end of his career. I would live in America over England any day.

Yes capitalism isnt good but that doesn't stop with from being a good place to live, but Norway which i have spent several years of my life in was under a socialist government for the last decade and it was near flawless except for the immigration politics.

So, maybe it was simply near flawless for YOU, because you're the right race? ;)

No i think you misunderstood what i meant, it was too nice with immigrants. And the fact that you say that i was "the right race" means you don't understand politics. Socialism is left wing which promotes that all races should have equal rights while capitalism which is right wing means that immigrants should have limited rights. In Norway there is a lot of abuse of the welfare system by some immigrants and Norwegians alike but immigrants have been the biggest problem and mind you i am part "immigrant" myself.

"Socialism is left wing which promotes that all races should have equal rights while capitalism which is right wing means that immigrants should have limited rights. "

Neither of these things are true.

If that's what you think the left-right paradigm is based upon, then you probably should take some classes.

"No it isn't but compared to each other that is what it is."

No, that's still not any more true.

The far right and far left extremes are not Nazism and the Soviet Union. Both of those systems would require totalitarian control, and an absence of democracy. They are not the paradigm that expresses 'right' and 'left' within political ideology.

The left sees property as a division among people, whereas the right relies upon property rights upheld by a State in order to function. Left-wing is the true anti-government ideology; true communism is an anarchistic model. I invite you to watch that video again. I read you an excerpt of a very influential component of real political thought in the history of the 'left'.

Marxism was not the only thinking taking place.
