I don't think he's anything special. Too often have we seen decent potential being thrown away. It doesn't just depend on how talented you are, it depends on a lot of things: fitness, luck with injuries, ambition, mental health, etc. If you can, Google up Wenger's methods for recruiting. He says that 15 minutes is good enough to judge if a kid is promising or not. He claims that for some players it takes a bit longer to determine their potential because they take some time to get into the game, whereas with a 13 year-old Lionel Messi you could probably determine his talent within the first 30 seconds. Regardless of the case, talent and potential does not equal to success on the professional stage. This kid doesn't seem anything special for his age, but his career could easily go in one of two directions.

I think he is insane for only 13 years old, but it is true what Dynastian98 says, that on the field, talent is not the only thing that counts.

Jokes aside, he has lots of talent for a 13 year old, but as Dynastian said, talent can only get you so far. Anyway, it's still very good to see such a promising young boy at the age of just 13. Good luck to him.

@Dynastian98 Bit salty aren't you? I bet at your 13 years of age that was average plays for you? Out of 7,5 billion people of course we will have a lot of talented and special ones problem is as you said injuries, mental health, ambition etc, but please don't just put a he is nothing special when he is 13 and he makes such plays.

He is surely something special and it is up to him to go further.

@Dynast Hum... pherhap, I still think he is impressive for a 13 year old, I mean, basicaly, he played with the under 20 team and the general consensus was that even if he only played for a little time, he didn't seem out of place at all. He also got named player of the tournament of the academy cup. Barcelona young team was one of the team participating to the competition. I mean, when you perfom better than the youth player from the Barcelona academy, then you must be doing something right, right? Anyway, not saying your wrong at all, just maybe that your a bit hard on the lad. In my opinion, he did enough to show he was a very good young talent at the very least. But I agree his talent could be ruined easily if he is unlucky or if he is isn't careful with his healt. Still think he is impressive for his age though. :P

I was a prospect too at 13... a series of ligament tears and Achilles' sprains ruined my physical condition. I'm not salty at all, this kid is average (although he is definitely better than I was at 13 for sure). I've met better 13 year-olds in person who play for various clubs around Toronto, which is why I'm saying he's nothing special. He's no Odegaard or Mastour or Pogba.

i've seen a lot better. also helps that everyone on his team and opposing team is shite.

In 5 year, we might not even remember his name for all we know and he might not even play in europe anymore. I guess you can't predict if a youngster is gonna be a talented player or end up working at a bike shop from his performance at 13 year old. Because so many stuff can happen, he can be hurt, stop to progress, be injured, lose the fire or develop a poor attitude. This feeling of incertitude when it come down to football and its future is so frustating. :(

Better 13 year olds? Lmao some people on this forum are straight ****. I mean this kid is 13 year old and plays in under -20s for a professional club ffs, if that isn't impressive and special then what is?

I think you can't really judge a player his age. Sure he played with a U20 team at 13 years old. That can go horribly wrong when the more physical players end up smashing him. Hachim from AC Milan was labeled as a future Balon dor yet he disappeared just like so many others.

@Chelsea8 @Raimondo90 And like I said before, he didn't played a lot for the U20 team, only as a subtitute toward the end of a game. Then again, as I said before, even at that level, he seemed comfortable. I think he got serious potential but that he will need to keep on improving before he can truly be expected to become a star. Considering he is only 13, he got the time.

It'll all come down to attitude.

Don't know how good he really is, but from the clips only thing he was somehow good at is dribbling, I'm not saying he's bad or something, but most kids focus on dribbling. Plus considering the defence of other team was pretty weak... There are talented kids like him all over Europe, it was just case of luck he got famous over it.

I've not seen anyone more talented than him at 13, but we've got to remember that these clips are just cherry picking his best moments. It all comes down to attitude, commitment, and his physical and mental condition.
