JOSE MOURINHO is returning to Chelsea – and he wants to bring Cristiano Ronaldo with him to Stamford Bridge.
Interim boss Rafa Benitez has been telling friends that there is no
future for him at the club because Mourinho is in advanced discussions
to seal a deal which puts him back in charge.

Relations have now
healed between owner Roman Abramovich and the charismatic Portuguese,
who he sacked in 2007 after winning two Premier League titles.

Abramovich believes Mourinho has unfinished business at Chelsea and is prepared to welcome him back – with the cheque book open.

Mourinho’s
days at Real Madrid have been coming to a close and he could have left
if his side had been knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester
United.

Now he will remain at the Bernabeu until the end of the
season – by which time he hopes to have landed the Champions League as a
farewell present.

Once back in London he will do his best to lure former Manchester United star Ronaldo away from Spain.

Mourinho knows that the 28-year-old isn’t content at Real and will test the water with a £60 million offer.

Mourinho going to Chelsea is likely, but Ronaldo leaving Madrid for the Blues is unlikely.

Ronaldo's childhood dream was to play for Real, and he's stated that his ambition is to break Raul's record of 323 goals scored in a Royal Whites shirt. And you've seen Ronaldo against United. When he scored against them, he refused to celebrate, which means that he acknowledges his past in England. If he's willing to cut the celebrations for scoring against United, him joining United's rival is unlikely.
