Jose Antonio Reyes died in a car accident. This has been confirmed by Sevilla.

It’s a tragedy and all our thoughts goes to his beloved ones.

Me and my friends have so many football memories regarding this particular player. He was, kind of, one of our favorite player in Football Manager back in the old days... I’m so disheartened by this news.

Only 35 years of age smh... you really can’t take life for granted. RiP :(

RIP, it's sad when you see retired footballer you've never seen play during their career die, but it's especially gut-wrenching when it's player you've seen play dying in a freak accident. Seriously, deepest sympathies going out to his friends and family. We lost another great :(

remember watching him when I was just a little kid, never forget his goals against Boro & Chelsea... 5 times Europa league winner, won the title for Real Madrid in 2007, one of the first wonderkids in EPL, first Spaniard to win the EPL, invincible.

Didn't get to see him play but it still very sad nevertheless. RIP. :(
