I think this rule is very odd , but funny how Hart was explaining it .

The rule isn't stupid. It's to make sure a player doesn't pass to himself when taking a free-kick.

What was stupid was the referee's decision. If an infringement of the two-touch rule occurs inside the box, an indirect free-kick should be awarded from the same spot as the initial infringement. Referee was dumb, that should've been an indirect free-kick, and most likely a goal.

Joe Hart is a very overate keeper, made mistake almost every 3 games. That was just another crazy mistake and he escaped it.
