Jesse Lingard has opened up on how he was close to taking a complete break from football during the lockdown period.
Lingard has revived his career after joining West Ham United on loan from Manchester United until the end of the current season. The England international didn’t get enough playtime at United and was thinking of quitting football as well as battling mental health problems and his mother’s depression.
Lingard has now reflected on the struggles he had while at United.
