Yep ..
Does this teach you in Barcelona too?
What's the point? evade taxes and get caught will eventually lead to paying more money.
this is embarrassing for la liga and barcelona .... Everyone has millions but avoiding to pay taxes ... what the fuck?
@quikzyyy ,u r right.. there is something over there ... one day everything will be clear.
That sick, I like Barcelona and its player but I don't get why they're not able to pay their tax. :(
...but will not serve it.
Javier Mascherano has been given 12 months in prison by Spanish authorities after pleading guilty to tax evasion charges...but will not spend any time in jail, after working out a deal with authorities.
Sport reports that such a deal is common in Spain for non-violent cases involving a sentence of under two years, and Mascherano will only see the inside of a jail cell if he re-offends within the next year.
One part of the punishment he couldn't get out of was the fine handed down by the court, a cool €815,000 to be paid to the Spanish authorities. The details of the deal will be confirmed in court on an as-yet undetermined date. The charges accused Mascherano of avoiding payment of tax on image rights from Nike by giving up the rights to a company in Madeira in Portugal, allowing him to avoid paying tax on them between 2011 and 2012.
Primera Division -
In addition to the €815,000 fine, Mascherano has already paid back the €1.5m which he owed in tax, plus an extra €200,000 in interest as instructed by the authorities.
