I can't believed what has happened today. Liverpool lost to Aston Villa in the fa cup semi final.
This wasn't how it was supposed to end for Steven Gerrard. His last season was supposed to be great with all that he has given his club. The final would be after the premier league had finished and it was on his birthday and it would have been his last day wearing the red of Liverpool. I honestly believed that nobody would stop Liverpool from lifting the cup because of these reasons.

Guess it's Arsenal's to retain then??

Liverpool will be better without Gerrard, I think in the last 2 seasons he caused more bad decisions than the good ones. Liverpool played poorly, didn't shown anything except last 10 minutes of rescuing the match.

We are not guaranteed to win it this year. Villa are playing well at the moment and it should be a close game.

Ever since that victory against West Brom scoring penalty in last minute , Sherwood was finally able to change the mood in the team . Ever since Aston Villa has been playing completely different type of football then to the one they started this year with and the one we knew them for . Great stuff . Tim Sherwood has his team dying for him on the field .

FA Cup final will be very tough match for both sides . Both clubs want to win it so much . However, Something tells me though , Aston Villa will want it little more and will get it . Nothing will please Sherwood more than to see Spurs missing out on Europe on top defeating them this season .

Gerrard tough luck in his career . I admire him a lot . Should have come to Chelsea when we offered him , but he was bullied by Pool fans to stay . Now i can only wish good luck in U.S.A.

I feel sad for him the same way you guys feel, but agree with @quikzyy. Gerrard has caused more crucial errors than good the last 2 seasons.

I still find his crying after MC's victory last season as they have already won the title ABSOLUTELY STUPID and ridiculous...

Touch luck for the legend.
