He's gotten bogged down for the three fingers in Portugal too. Jesus himself claimed it was directed at Luisão, who netted his second and third goals in two games. Loved this comment from a straight-forward Benfica fan:

That's weird coming from a guy like Jorge Jesus. I think it is the first time he does something like this which makes me wonder what made him do that. I watched the entire game but there was no clear reason for his childish behaviour. He is a really great manager, but he acted like a rookie there.

I was waiting for someone to make a thread about this... now in the second leg I really hope spurs beat the shit out of benfica.. I really feel bad for tim sherwood and fuck that benfica manager

@tiki: Show me a video of where Mourinho does that to a manager who's had no previous issues with Mourinho before? None. The only time you see Mourinho acting like that is vs Arsene, AVB, Rafa, Pellegrini, and Pep, and I don't mind when he does that to them because I think it's funny and football these days is too serious.

a certain london club kicked benfica out of CL a couple of seasons ago and destroyed their hope of winning a european trophy in a final match, maybe thats why jorge jesus trolled another london club when he had the chance :) :)

I think Jesus is has bad memories of coming to London and it was little to special for him. He wanted to prove a point and he did , but in now way his behavior should be acceptable. I think he took it too personal and went way over the line with his behavior . For god sake he is almost 60 . At least act your age .

As Benfica fans point out, Jesus demeaned the win for a stylish Benfica team who were ridiculously effective and sturdy defensively. I thought Sherwood hit the nail on the head: "His team is of high class, a pity he isn't."

No it is not lack of class, it is not caring for opposition and taunting them which is great. Not only fans should be able to start banter. Anyone who finds this rude or offensive can bore off.

Im not pretending to know issues between coaches ^^ , i just see what he did in the past and Jesus is far far far from reaching Mourinho anti fair-play level....

Yeah it's rude, but this sort of stuff makes football a much funner place. I liked the gesture, but definitely was rude and should have been intended at a rival.

@Vendetta No it is not rude, he is just taunting the opposition. Any team you play is a rival to be fair except for clubs where the fans have friendly relations like Rangers - Hearts FC, Celtic - Hibernian and Internazionale - Lazio.

Question is will Jesus apologize ? Mourinho apologized to Tito . It was earlier confrontation that made Mourinho to get back with Tito in very silly way . Still no excusable and he admitted .
