I've always been really skeptical about the MLS growing and rising. Don't see it becoming
a big league. As much as they will grow, MLS will never have star European players go to
American clubs. I just think its unlikely.

I probably won't.. it's one of those leagues where good old players go to finish their career... because they play lots..
Retirement League :)
Not forever, though. I think V-man is right.
Once the gate returns start to justify big investment, you could easily see the next PSG arising in the US.
PSG can play C1 big diference...
I've been meaning to ask you this for ages, tiki... why do you always say C1? Don't you have a L key? O.o
We call Champions league C1 and Europa league C3, i translated the meaning of CL in French Wikipedia:
''The Champions League UEFA, also called C1 and formerly European Champion Clubs inception in 1955 until 1992, is an annual football competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and where the best clubs européen1 continent. This is the most prestigious sporting event in Europe club, before the Europa League.''
I thought every country call it the same ?
@tiki_taka
But since the language spoken publicly in this website is English, it would be best if you stuck to the English terminology. It'll help the rest of the members comprehend what you're saying, and would be greatly appreciated if you say CL and EL instead of C1 and C3. :)
I thought every one called it C1 thats all, no need to tell us stupid things everybody knows that its an English website. If it matters to you that much i will say CL next time.
@tiki: speaking for myself, I was simply confused. I thought it was a typo, the first few times. It really is no big deal to me, personally, I just have never heard anyone use C1 before, is all.
I was asking to understand, not criticize. :)

I know Lodatz no pb :)
I seriously believe with some tweaks and enough investments in clubs, the MLS could be home of many great players over the years. I seriously see it competing with the big leagues here in Europe in the future. The key? America needs to have an increased support of the sport (which is actually happening).
