Iraqis love football, it's our favorite sport without any competition. Also there is a lot of greats talents in Iraq, it's just too bad we don't have any good football academies to take advantage of these talents.

The craziest thing was when Iraq played amazingly in the 2006 WC and reached the semi-finals!

Anyway, I'm upset that Egypt didn't go through but Iraq has given me someone to cheer on. It won't be easy though as they have to play a tough Uruguay side.

Whoever wins will meet France.

So gut-wrenchingly close them. I'm sure they'll be devastated that they didn't make it to the final but on reflection they'll be proud for having gotten to the SF.
