Incredible Monaco !!!

"The buying frenzy seizes Monaco! "That 's the title of the Journal of the Mercato, which gives pride to AS Monaco, which dynamite the beginning of the transfer window. Club Monaco has already put his hand on João Moutinho and James Rodriguez, meanwhile certainly shortly Radamel Falcao and Victor Valdes. Fabio Coentrao, Branislav Ivanovic, Kevin Prince Boateng or even Hatem Ben Arfa are also listed among the princely targets.

But this is not all, and it seems that, in the general anonymity of the Rock men have advanced their pawns in a submarine to another folder, certainly less glamorous. Simple replacement for Real Madrid, Ricardo Carvalho comes out of contract, and thus finds himself free as air. The Portuguese central defender must therefore be a base.

And according to Sky Italia, the operation is already buckled, and the International Lusitano should commit Champion France Ligue 2. From its 35 years, the former Chelsea player or even FC Porto\'s what that same evening in Monaco to discuss the final details of the contract.

Rodriguez, Falcao, Moutinho, Valdes, Carvalho : done.
Coentrao is in discussions, 29 million euros for Ivanovic offered to Chalsea, 30M for Di Maria.
Monaco will buy a whole squad in one Mercato just shocking.
Super agent Jorge Mendes want to set a maximum number of his players in Monaco.Mendes is the agent of Di Maria, Falcao, Coentrao and Carvalho.
what is your point mates ?

Nice to see another PSG in france... I think that a team that starts buying like crazy is only a good competitive case if they are not originally a big team so this is another good club which will give the League 1 a competitive edge even in europe in the next years to come...

yeah you are right, but other teams like Lyon or Marseille are complaining because Monaco does not pay his taxes, they demand that Monaco moves its headquarters in France. I doubt that the Russian billionaire agrees. also the principality has a financial contract with Latin americathe recruitment will be benefic for South American players.
The league 1 was very boring this year with only PSG, Monaco will give some competitiveness to the league.

I want to see them fail miserably, not because the player, because what the team is doing. I much rather see Lyon and OM succeed in France.

Let's try to predict other players that can be added to the list.
Monaco promoted this year so i think all ligue2 players will leave just like juventus when they were relegated. Sad for them but it's competition.

I only wrote player names who signed or will sign in a couple of days, other players that might come are :

Ivanovic, Di maria, Prince Boateng,Tevez........ etc
what are 5 players who are able to come to Monaco and be added to the squad ??

@Raimondo,I am Marseille fan, but i have to tell you im not sad about what's happening... if Psg weren't in quarter last year in C1 France would loose some coefficient rank, i think that its for other clubs to try adapt to this situation.
France wants to compete in C1,and the best team in France ( Lyon) did not reach semi-finals without money...
i respect your point of view, but we want to build up a strong league and Marseille will get extra-money for the visibility of la ligue 1 next year... i prefer supporting an average team in a strong league than the best team in a boring league.

Nothing about football here. Just money, greed, money, and greed.

@netsten: Now I am a Chelsea fan and I love everything about the club, but don't you think we shouldn't be talking about money and greed in football as Chelsea fans?

@V
You're right, and I know that, but I don't think Chelsea has been such a shame club as the PSG was when they show the trophy in Paris some days ago, it was just pathetic, and there was nothing about football, it's really sad. I don't remember Chelsea doing that kind of disrespect against their sport.

Manaco's plans looks like a stupid and greedy answer to the PSG, just to say, hey, we have the money too, next time you will not the only team in the ligue 1 that have too much money. Nothing about football here.
Just money, greed, money, and greed.
But yes, I know, I'm not in a good position to speak about that kind of money thing as a Chelsea fan...

I really don't like this because Monaco is in the Ligue 1, and I like this competition.
This season, the PSG kills everything, just because of the money. I mean, Ligue 1 is not the premiere league, in EPL there are more powerful teams, and money is not everything. I'm just scared to see that the ligue 1 turns to a 2 teams competition. I'm very disappointed by this 2012 / 2013 season, PSG and his money comes from nowhere and just won the cup. I'm scared that the next season be even more boring...

In fairness, when Chelsea got suddenly rich, they didn't go out and suddenly buy every huge name from around Europe, like Monaco is doing. They were already a decent club, with some good players, and they added a lot of unknown talent at first.

Aside from Crespo and Svenchenko (both flops), they really didn't buy any of the world's most famous/expensive players until years later.

Chelsea were in EPL that time, Monaco have just promoted they don't have any decent player to compete in France. and chelsea had a problem of atractivity at the begining, players were not used to come and they were the first "money team". they tried to buy as they could and had the chance to have 2 or 3 class players that stayed in the club.
Anyway i see no diference between " money clubs " but im not against them because they are making every league better with more competitive teams and exciting matches... Manchester city and Chelsea might take the place of other teams but they made EPL exciting to watch, and so for PSG and Monaco hope Lille, Marseille, and Lyon try to progress and find solutions.
if France have 2 teams or more to compete with Europeen teams in C1, then it's good for French Football, said by Jean Michel Aulas( Lyon' s persident ). I think it's good for the visibility of la ligue 1, for all the fans who will see some big players performing and for the game quality.
