I don't blame him!
@Vendetta
you are not able to know what relationship will Mourinho have with Chelsea players.
No one expected that Mourinho will have so bad relationships with many of his players when he decided to join madrid
@Vendetta
you are not able to know what relationship will Mourinho have with Chelsea players.
No one could imagine when he decided to join madrid what will happen with Iker and Ramos..
I think we all know Mourinho's rep with the Chelsea players and fans is safe. We aren't Madrid.
One of them will go this summer. I don't think it would be Iker because he's a club legend and Real Madrid through and through. Mou is going to Chelsea. It's inevitable.
@Vendetta
I'm sorry mate, but do you know the story behind Mourinho and Casillas? Please don't go running your mouth off about my team when you don't know anything.
Mourinho first got into arguments with Ramos when Carles Puyol scored a header against Madrid in the Cop del Rey last season. Ramos' job was to mark Puyol, but due to in-game circumstances, he went to mark Pique (the taller threat). Pepe was left to mark Puyol. And after Puyol scored, and Pepe failed to mark him, Mourinho took out his anger on the Spaniard instead of his fellow countryman. He asked Ramos why he didn't mark Puyol, and Ramos apparently replied with "... circumstances forced me to move over and mark Pique". Mourinho was infuriated and apparently said that Ramos doesn't listen to him and doesn't do his job right, to which Ramos replied "...well you wouldn't know. You never even PLAYED football". And that's how Mourinho's fight with Ramos started.
As for Casillas' one, it was Xavi's father who revealed the truth.
Casillas and Xavi have had a long-time friendship. Mourinho doesn't like that. He told Iker to end his friendship with the Barcelona captain, to which Iker got mad and had an argument with Mourinho. Iker told Xavi later, and fortunately they still are good friends today. Xavi and his father are very well aware of this situation, and Xavi's father stated that he owes his respect to Iker for maintaining his friendship with his son. THAT's why Mourinho and Iker hate each other.
Also, Mourinho was being questioned by the press during a practice, Mourinho said that the Spanish players are heavily protected by the Spanish media. When asked about Casillas, he was about to start talking about Casillas but Casillas overheard, and was seen yelling from 20 yards away, "HEY MISTER! Around here, we say things to people's faces, eh?".
Despite all the success and brilliance Mourinho has, I find him stuck up to be so cruel to Iker JUST because he maintains a healthy friendship with Barcelona players. He's brought upon a ruin on Madrid with the way he's been treating our two captains.
@Dynastian98 well said!
@Dynastian wow never new that. Just proves to read longer comments once in a while :)
of course i feel sorry for our Legend Casillas but to be honest Lopez deserves to play alot of matches this season !! what made it worse is that there were some easy matches that mourinho should let casillas to be in the starting Xl but he didn't :S
Iker may leave Madrid because the way he's been treated. Sad really :/
@Dynastian: First, I would like to apologize if you got offended by my sentence. I am simply speaking the truth. Second, your source about Iker VS Mourinho is Xavi's father. While the story could be true, I am not going to trust Xavi's (BARCELONA PLAYER) father on what really goes on. Have a good day, Dynastian.
@Vendetta
Why wouldn't you trust Xavi's father? Is it because his son is a Barcelona player? What would Xavi's father GAIN from lying to the media? He is actually PROTECTING Casillas, a Real Madrid player. I see you have no regard for Barcelona and Madrid. And what about all the other proof I gave you? You're accusing Madrid for "not treating Mourinho with respect" when Mourinho is the one who started this mess.
We all know very well that Mourinho is famous for starting up little kid wars against people like Benitez, Ranieri, Guardiola, etc. So why would you not consider what Xavi's father said to be realistic?
You EPL fans always talk about how Suarez is immature because of his dirty tricks and because he bit Ivanovic. How about Mourinho? He poked Vilanova in the EYE. Right in front of the camera too. You still gonna treat Mou with respect Vendetta? Even when he, who is twice Suarez's age, goes up and insults people left and right and behaves like a child?
The Spanish media hates him with due reason. He has always says outrageous things about Barcelona and Spanish players. The reason the English media love him is because his comments create unnecessary drama, and brings him to the spotlight.
I will definitely respect Mourinho for what he has done for us, and how far he has brought us, but I will not respect him for his antics. Give respect for what is due. Mourinho's theatrics do NOT deserve our attention. They are shameful and childish, and the only reason Chelsea fans love him is because he brought them out to the spotlight when he came to them. I'm sorry if you get offended Vendetta, but you started this argument by accusing Madrid. Have a good day. ;)
@Dynastian Dunno about Ramos story but the story about Casillas and Mourinho is not all true. It's true Mourinho didn't like Casillas being friends with Xavi, but it all really happened during the ballon d'or voting phase. Some of the teammates were supporting Casillas to be ballon d'or while some others (Mourinho for instance) supported Ronaldo to be ballon d'or. Ronaldo wanted his teammates to vote for him but many wanted Casillas to be ballon d'or. Thats why we see Ronaldo being unhappy during the beginning of the season (not because of money). And then the relationship between Mourinho and Casillas split apart.
@Master: and wtf are u doin here fake juventus fan? dont u have some trollings to do?
Dynastian +1
These EPL fans are overly obsessed with Mourinho, and your Suarez-Mourinho point was great.
@Dynastian: First off, I never accused Madrid for not respecting Mourinho.
All managers have rivalries. SAF, one of the most respected managers, has gotten into fights with other managers. Same goes for Wenger. As for the Mourinho's issue with Tito, you should very well know that time was in a heated match where everyone on the pitch were fighting. He apologized and admitted he shouldn't have done that. It was one of those moments where he got into the the heat of the incident. It happened to many non-hated players.
This is where I play down your comparison with Suarez. You're comparison with Moruinho and Suarez, and I'm sorry to say that, is stupid. Suarez has done every of his antics in a dirty, unthinkable, stupid way for a dumb reason. Suarez does everything dirty to change a game for his team. While he might be considered a hero for his club in some ways, that is dark evil antics on the pitch. Mourinho does his antics sure, but it doesn't change the game. He uses the mindgames BEFORE the match. His antics are clean and don't change the game unlike Suarez's antics.
Now finally, the good ol' Spanis media. While I don't follow the La Liga, I know hating on your rivals should be commom. It's a bloody rivalry!!! Even more uncommon for you, a Madrid fan, to say that hating on your BIGGEST rivals is outrageous. And clearly, you don't know much of Mourinho's time with the English media, as he was LOVED there. He would be able to make the whole room laugh by a single sentence, and with pinch of arrogance, those mindgames were really great for the media. He may have also had his bad times with the media, but which manager doesn't? And yes, I am having a good day :)
To be fair, Mourinho has a lot of good points, when speaking out against the Spanish media. The reason we like him in England is because he doesn't treat the media like a sacred thing; he'll have fun with it, poke fun at it, and treats it like a game. In England we like that, and we also like someone tweaking the noses of the pompous.
In Spain the media are far too up their own (and their league's) arse, to be perfectly honest. They dislike Mourinho because he bursts the little fantasy bubble that they like to strut around in, pretending their sh.it doesn't stink.
All Mourinho really does is remind them that it does. In Italy they despised him, because, well, it's frickin' Italy.
And coincidentally, the reason we don't like Suarez in England, is because while we don't take the media seriously, we DO take the game of football itself seriously.
Big difference,
@Vendetta
Your first post.
"...where our players will always treat you with respect no matter what."
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but you just indirectly stated that Madrid players don't treat Mourinho with respect. Oh, the irony!
After he poked Tito Vilanova in the eye he didnt even say sorry to the press conference he even insulted Tito Vilanova saying that he doesnt who is Tito Vilanova and calling him a "PITO".
They didnt even look at each other..
