Iker Casillas considers leaving Real Madrid

"If the situation doesn't change within three months and you ask me the same question, I'd probably say that I'll be looking to leave.

In September I wanted to leave and I was going to tell the president that I wanted to go, but I decided to be a part of this squad and this club for a lot longer. I always wanted to stay at Real Madrid but I'd like to play and compete more."

Honestly, if there's one club I'd see him at rather than Madrid, it's Arsenal. I'm a huge fan of Arsenal under Wenger, and I think that they could benefit a lot from Casillas, especially since Wenger refused to buy Julio Cesar this summer.

Casillas was also quoted of commenting on Diego Lopez. He said, "He's playing fantastically this year, as he did last year, which is good for everyone".

^ Ozil is the only player that has left Madrid for Arsenal in recent years.

Nasri, Adebayor, Kolo Toure and Clichy all left Arsenal for City recently. The comparison really doesn't work. ._.

Ahh yes, Benzema. We should have spent money on Suarez instead of Perez buying Bale. Benzema could have then be sold to whatever team, and we would end up with a better squad in general. But I don't think Wenger would want to buy Benz. Benzema is far too lazy, and his strength lies in his passing in the final third. That's why he still plays. He can help assist Isco, Ronaldo, and Bale. But two French strikers competing for the starting position on both the national team AND a club team would be bad. :/

There is a certain Catalan club looking for a new keeper.

Maybe he should become the Anti Figo and join Barcelona.

LOL @ Dephased. That would rock.

It would also rock to see him at the Camp Nou, too.

I think I speak for most Arsenal fans in saying that San Iker would have a welcome home in London.

since Wenger signed in summer Viviano, I don't think we will be signing any goalkeeper this year.

Isnt san and saint the same in different languages?

anyways... Real Madrid cant let Iker leave the club, he is one of the most transcendental players in their history, and one of the best keepers ever, aaaand the captain of the club. Cassillas departure would end up being disastrous for the team and the club.

^ Saint is originally French but its also used in English , in Dutch we say Sint

It would be terrible if Iker leaves but i dont think it will happen , he will stay.

What we need now is a great striker , i hope Florentino can make that happen.
