Hey everyone. :)

Using footage I have of games this year, I put together some of the best moments and goals of young Mr Bale from this season, to celebrate his Footballer of the Year awards. Would love to know what you think!

(p.s. this is my first attempt at something like this, so, be kind)

@rama: The freezing is down to YouTube's servers, not me. And what bit needs improved quality? Serious question.

In seriousness, I thought it was well put together. I'm not sure how people actually make these videos so maybe I'm not the best guy to ask but to me it looked good.

@rama: it's uploaded in HQ, but I'm restricted by the quality of footage I can get hold of. :/ I've managed to get most games this season on a torrent the day after, but missed the boat on some of them, and have only other highlights vids to poach from. :/

things u should improve :

• the soundtrack was not that good . also the soundtrack rythm is fast so u should make rapid transition between scenes ! in the 1st half of the video transitions were too slow . in the 2nd half it was good but some of them were too fast !
• the ending was aweful indeed :/

anyway nice try :)

also try to make the scenes flows with the soundtrack smoothly ! feel every beat and put the suitable scene for it e.g when the beat goes loud put a scene which is epic with the player celebrating with the fans for example and so on :)

after watching ur video , i feel i need to make one too :D i made 3 videos only , the last one was 3 yrs ago ! since then i learnt alot about making football vids but i didn't make anything :/

btw , this is the last one i made ! it's about egypt's goals in africa cup of nations 2010 ! we won the title for the 3rd time in row !

the editing in the beginning like ironfist said needs improvement... kinda noobish pick of effects.. i too have done that mistake before..

btw: where did you get the footage?

Yeah, I really just wanted to do something with the beginning, and that was the effect which was least horrible (I only have some free video editor program I downloaded). I'll drop the silly colours in future. ;)

I get the footage mainly from torrents -- you get to analyze a lot better when it's not live, and you can study how the match actually went.

I'll probably, over the summer, go back and look for more comprehensive moments from the season, to make a more complete showcase video of his skills. Just wanted to throw something out there in the meantime.

I think, I saw Bale in a music video which surprised me. I think the song's name was the bad touch or something like that. I seriously didn't know he can sing as well. Props Bale.

Sorry forgot to reply about your video. As for first attempt, its pretty good. The only thing, I did not like was the color changing. You did way too many of them for the intro. I would say, a goal celebration or something cool Bale has done(in slow motion) followed by some special effects introducing the player would be a little better.
