Honestly, Mikel's so useless to Chelsea. They got him in hope that he might be the next Makelele/Essien, but he's come nowhere close. You guys have more hope with Romeu.

We don't really need a Makelele right now with likes of Mata and Oscar while Essien's sad injury blow ruined his career. Mikel is the brickwall that stops the opposition from breaking into our defense. He is one of the most underrated DMs in the world. He's also one of our biggest scapegoats but from my perspective, I see him as an unsung hero.

The most important position in the whole game is defending midfield. It is also the most easily overlooked and most underrated.

I honestly think you should check the video I posted. A lot of the clips show him breaking the oppositions attack and starting on of our attacks. I'll be honest with you though, I would also like to focus on Romeu as well, but for now he is injured.

Emenalo wasn't here when Mikel joined. Mou got him and here and mark my words, if Mou returns he'll also get the best out of him.

Considering Mikel was a CAM when Chelsea bought him, it was a mistake to force him to change to CDM. But I guess he made the best out of it and is one of the regulars now.
