Guess Shava's definitely not going back after this.
Tragic!! He is ruining his own career! At the age of 25!
Woah! nobody expected that. But yeah. Money talks and Zenit is a rich russian football club. I hope Hulk all the best and i hope he will play in a Italian , Spanish or a English club someday that would be great.
LOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL
DISASTER!!!!!! I HATE THIS!! WHY CAN'T WE KEEP OUR INCREDIBLE PLAYERS!!?? (wish him good luck though..)
The deal was £50 million, not £39,5. If to follow SkySports and TheGuardian though.
EITHER WAY HE WENT FOR THE MONEY! CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!
Still Porto has made huge win signing Hulk for almost no money and selling him expensive.. but I dont think Porto need money. They`re a wealthy club
probably
£ 39.5M and 50M €
I concur with @Soccer: Sky quoting: "The club did not disclose the transfer fee but reports claim they have parted with €60m (£47.5m) to secure the frontman."
YES KNIBIS THAT'S WHY WE SHOULDN'T SELL HIM!! WE ALWAYS SELL OUR GREAT PLAYERS WITHOUT HAVING ANY BIG MONEY-PROBLEMS!!
great source foota!!!!
Champions League Zenit St. Petersburg have been royally reinforced by
signing two of Portugal’s top division stars, Porto’s Hulk and
Benfica’s Axel Witsel. The deals are an estimated 40 million euro each –
an unprecedented sum for a Russian club.
The two transfers were confirmed late on Monday, causing a stir both
in Russia and in Portugal. Both players have signed five-year deals with
the St. Petersburg side and will join the club after returning from
their respective national sides.
Givanildo Vieira de Souza,
commonly known as Hulk, won ten major titles during his four-year stay
at Porto – including the 2011 Europa League, and three national
championships. The 26-year-old was also once crowned the league's top
scorer, and was named the Player of the Year twice.
Hulk played with Brazil at the 2012 Summer Olympics as an overaged player, helping his team take silver in London.
Zenit
had to beat strong opposition to add the player to their roster, as
English powerhouse Chelsea were also interested in his services.
Axel
Witsel, in his turn, is regarded as one of the most talented young
Belgian players. He spent last season at Benfica helping his team reach
the Champions League quarterfinals.
wtf
Great post awais! Hulk's bid was likely to be around £45-55.
i'm really upset about this... i was a big hulk fan and wanted to see how he would do in premier league with his size + speed...
That price is waaaaaaay too much anyway
money money money
as FootyRoom saying on fb:"Brazilian attacker Hulk, linked with Chelsea Football Club all summer, has completed an eyewatering £39.5m switch to Zenit St. Petersburgfrom F.C. Porto."
I'm bit surprised of that deal, what are u thinkin' about it?
