Good job, Volkinator :)
As for me, it took about half a year of constant working out. I used to be a really skinny kid. But now I weigh 170lb at 5"7, and when I bench I do 180lb with 3 sets of 10 reps. But I don't bench anymore and If you are benching for your chest muscles then I recommend you don't either because it doesn't target your chest that good.
How old are you guys? o.O
Are you sure that it doesn't target your chest so good? Because I heard somewhere that its the best chest exercise. Nice anyways, how long you've been working out?
Im 16
No it's not right. Never bench. The best chest routine is dumbbell flies, dumbbell press, chest dips, and cable flies. 3x10 each. & since 15
Do some lats excercise.
How do you know this? Do you have any source?
Whats your routine like?
I go 6 times a week:
Monday: Chest, Bi
Tues: Legs
Wed: Back, Tri
Thur: Shoulders, Abs
Fri: Bi
Sat: Tri
Sun: Rest
hey guys I'm 16 169cm do you think if i start lifting weights, i'll stunt my height?
Im also 16 and 170 cm, it wont stunt your height unless you're doing squats.
Im not saying squats stunt your height but theres a small possibility that it can make you 1-2 cm shorter if you dont do it correctly

it took me about a year to do it... i managed to bench 70kg. my weight is 65kg. I can do 70 on horizontal, 60 on declined and 55 on 37 degree inclination.
Just benched 65kg today, my own weight
Took me 2 ½ months to do that, started from 40.
Feels so good :)
How long did it take for you guys to bench your own weight?
