How has your team done in the transfer window?
Dynastian98 11 years ago Edited
Real Madrid 483 7140

Try and answer all questions.

  1. Best buy your team made?

  2. Best player off-loaded/loaned out?

  3. Worst transfer your team made?

  4. Best transfer your team made in terms of bargaining? (can be purchased or sold)

  5. Is your team stronger/weaker after transfer window?

And finally...

  1. How far do you think your team will end up in your league, domestic cup, and European competition?

I wouldnt say it has been a bad or brilliant transfer window but it has been a good one atleast...

  1. Dorlan Pabón (you will be surprised by him this season, i hope :)) or seling Soldado, 30 mil was too much and he has never been a favourite among valencia fans due to being too irregular..

  2. Aly Cissokho, didnt fit our style of play

  3. Viera on loan to Rayo, i though he wanted to stay and battle for a starting eleven postion even though we have some width there on the offensive midfield, to bad he wanted to leave on a 1 year loan

  4. making Fede and Bernat play more in the first team

  5. our squad is stronger and have more depth from the many talents like Fede and Bernat but if we take into account the manager with his splaying style our team is gonna be worse...

  6. i wont guess because im always a hater (according to some ignorant a-holes here) when i do so...

I believe it's fairly well-known that Soldado was beloved by the Valencia fans. The ones in Spain, at least. This could be due to having been a very regular scorer for them, notching up 81 goals in 141 games. In fact, isn't he, like, their 7th highest scorer of all time, or something, after only 3 seasons?

But don't take my word for it. Check out how much this guy loves him:

actually Lodaz some of us has grown to dislike him from this season... I talk to more Valencia fans in a day than you do in a lifetime and I would agree that 30 is too much for Soldado...

@knibis

Well I'd say most Valencia fans, other than yourself or the ones you associate with, loved their key player Soldado and were upset to lose him. He was your key goal scorer and your best player and will probably be the starting striker for Spain soon. Without Soldado = no top four for Valencia in the past seasons.

^^ Your best player was not the guy who has been your top goal-scorer for 3 years in a row?

Okay.

Just out of curiosity, why did you used to have Soldado as your avatar, before he was transferred to Tottenham?

A true Valencian fan could never hate on Soldado. He was proffessionally perfect on the pitch and outside.
@knibis the problem you have with Lodatz influences your statements, if he moved to Arsenal, would you say same things about Goldado ??

@tiki_taka.. hate? ha nooo, overrated even in Valencia.. yes!! I have followed the entire last la liga season and im tired his constant missing 1-on-1s and being involved in dirty play and complaining. I hold Canales (mid), Banega (mid), Pereira (def) MUCH MUCH higher than Soldado and i think everyone who watches Valencia REGULARLY and doesn't only watch stats can agree..

Knibis you are insane... Soldado was our captain while Albelda was sitting on the bench. He bagged so many goals for us at times he seemed to be our only competent player on the pitch (besides both our goalkeepers). Canales is decent but if he was so world class as you rate him, you think Madrid would have let him go for 7.5M? Quit being stupid. Banega is a great player (I can't help my Argentine bias). He was loved till the very end, and he had every right to leave the way he did. I fully respect him and even watch Spurs play to see if he bags a goal or two. I would have offloaded Jonas, Canales and Banega just to keep Soldado.

"I would have offloaded Jonas, Canales and Banega just to keep Soldado"

you are not a Valencia supporter if you reason like that tbh

  1. Götze, he's gonna prove his worth

  2. Gomez :(((

  3. Selling Luiz Gustavo to Wolfsburg, we'd really need him right now (martinez, schweinsteiger & thiago are injured)

  4. Thiago, quite the bargain if you ask me :P

  5. Currently we're definitely weaker, defense is unstable, attack wasting too many chances.

  6. If Pep can work out his strategy I'm sure we're going to be a force in Bundesliga and Champion's League again this year. Also, many players haven't really recovered well from last season and don't seem to be on their highest fitness level yet, so we should wait and see.
I think we won't win CL this year, but the league and the DFB-Pokal is going to be ours. And we already got the Supercup! :P
