I support Arsenal because when I was a kid, the team had lots of French players and a French manager. My favorite players were Zidane and Wiltord for his goal in the final against Italy in 2000.

I remember my dad was trying to make me a football player and made me watch football since the age of 5 due to the fact that he was working in London near a place at Stamford he was a Chelsea fan due to his relationship with few fans around his work, I remember many times he came back to show me their games and I was really thrilled when he brought me a Di Matteo jersey which I was wearing proudly at school. He got it for me and the same day he showed me the FA final vs Middlesbrough and I still remember Di Matteo's goal at that final I was THRILLED it was like beeing at the stadium cheering for the club.

Yeah somehow I am not a plastic...I guess....

i just typed the strongest team with za best players in da world so amazing team, and they gave me Real Madrid and Arsenal (since they had bendther), I chose arsenal of course but it seems that i wasn't qualified to be one of lord benchers subordinate so I went with madrid

As a kid I only ever watched international soccer and I supported The Netherlands. After the 2014 world cup, I was so impressed with LVG that I decided to star supporting Man Utd. You guys are all probably thinking I'm a bandwagon but I'll tell you why I'm not. I didn't start with Man Utd because they were really good or because they had a lot of good players, I went with them because I loved the manager and I really enjoyed watching his style. For example, I started to support them after they finished Seventh and were pretty much a disaster. Nowadays I don't really like LVG anymore because he has proved to not be the best of managers with all those dumb transfer decisions but what he has done is made me love Man Utd like nothing I've ever loved before. I will forever support United and I promise I will never leave them. GGMU

I started supporting Arsenal because I grew up in Islington, North London no other reason than that :) Watched my first game at Highbury with my dad in 1997 and been hooked since.

Always supported PSG since i've lived all my life in Paris but didn't really follow all games before PSG got top players and instead i watched lots of other top teams like Barca or Lyon in CL (I know a lot of you will judge me for this :p After all, we are all football fans before been our team's fan aren't we?? I don't see the harm in it.) But i have to say, there is nothing better (in football) than supporting the team from the city you're from (specially if they have the ability to be competitive on big competitions !)

Ironically, I started watching football with Ronaldinho's Barcelona. I only began watching Real Madrid play because of the Clasicos, in particular the one where the Bernabeu stood up and gave a standing ovation to Ronaldinho (chills whenever I think of that game). Been watching Madrid regularly since 2009-ish. Only watched them in brief spurts prior to that.

I was invited to watch "le classique" PSG - Marseille 1-2 1997. Remember the atmosphere during pre-game in the PSG blocks. After the game me and some friends were walking in the champs elysees predicting the outcome of FIFA world cup 1998. I predicted France because I was so impressed by the football played and all the young players France had. A great evening at Paris I won't forget. Except the pizza I had that night... burnt. I fell in love with the city and the team PSG... Ravanelli, the "silver fox" got a penalty wich should not have been a penalty.

@pelle I wanted to ask you why is your profile picture a cannon ? You like arsenal too or do you just like cannons ?

LOL! I love Premiere league!! And cannons! Story is: I used to watch PL sporadically as a kid during 80s and 90s. I remember how good Liverpool was. Then United got Ferguson/Cantona and everyone talked about them. Chelsea was seldom mentioned back then, they were quite boring before the era of Zola... and the only thing one new about Man City was Oasis. Everton had been declining for some time. Blackburn won PL with Shearer and shocked everyone. Leeds and Wimbledon were teams people new about. But it was a lot about Liverpool, Arsenal and mainly Man Utd back then. But no team really interested me that much yet. As for the "cannons": many french players I liked, like Viera, Henry, Petit, Pires etc. started to play in Arsenal. But also others like Ljungberg, Overmars, Bergkamp, Adams, Seaman played... I loved how Arsenal had transformed from the days of Graham (did not like his football) to the new "fresh" technical play of Wenger. I got attracted by their way of approaching the game, their transformation, so I started to support them around 2001-2002. That explains the picture mon cher ami. I support PSG and Arsenal. :)
