These treads are getting better and better every week! I really can't understand physics of that goal from Fifa. Amazing and very creatively scored goal. Also cracked on last pictures.

Happy New year guys!

Milan were excellent that game. It's nice to see them get a confidence booster before the second half of the season starts again. It's a real shame to see them underperforming in the league.

@Shpalman :

I started watching at 4-1, Madrid was trying to score, i guess they were taking it easy and then find themselves in a complicated situation, good defending by Milan, Essien drible made my day, Bale creating small spaces to shoot looks like an improvement for him, he seemed to handle small spaces better now ( i only saw 20minutes of the game ).

@Dynastian and Tiki

truth is that football, as a whole, lost lot of quality in the last years and no one talks about it. when i recall the 90s and early 2000s it's not because i'm just nostalgic about my team winning, it's because the quality of the game expressed in that era it's still unmatched. there was a lot of variety, a larger number of clubs used to be captivating, each of them had at least 2-3 high quality players to build their game around. now the number of captivating clubs is shrinking down, more and more. Wolfsburg without De Bruyne, for example, would lose half of its chemistry.

edit: what i mean is, ok that this one was a friendly, but in the past, it would never happen that 2 clubs with such difference in terms of money and squad, would end in a similar scoreline like today's one. just think that RM is at its hystorical best, more or less, and ACM is actually at its hystorical lowest point.

@Shpalman

Real Madrid of the 50's and 80's were also at their historical best. Milan were at their best in the late 80's/early 90's and between 2003-07. We'll find out soon if Madrid are at their historical best or not after a few seasons.
