@ramaboy giroud is better than henry right now, alexis as well, walcott too, and welbeck for sure. Henry has more footballing talent than the whole planet put together but unfortunately he's 37. He wouldn't make the bench for us.

In which universe can any of Arsenal's strikers can score a goal like that one. Certainly, not in this one. (Don't count 1/1000000 lucky shots) Even at 37, he's better than all of Arsenal's strikers. He might not have the speed and stamina that he had when he was young but, his finishing, flair, dribble, technique, and heading are miles ahead of all of them.

Back on topic, Henry is one of the all-time greats, and one of the best French talents ever. He's right up there alongside Kopa, Platini, and Zidane.

@ramaboy yeah he's an idiot.

@manchesterutl like I said above your comment, he's an amazingly talented player, but right now, with his age and physical condition he wouldn't make our bench. Walcott has scored better goals than that one, same for alexis, giroud, and even welbeck who scored a few lovely goals with united.

Scoring in MLS is 10 times easier than scoring in EPL.

I dont think that goal had anything to do with the difficulty of the league. Stop being a fanboy. That was all on the player.
@KH That's what you think. In my opinion Henry is still better than any of Arsenal's current strikers.

@ManchesterutI

A 'fanboy'? It does have to do with the difficulty of the league. In the EPL, Henry would've never gotten the space to make that shot. It's called being logical, not being a 'fanboy'.

I don't agree i think he would have done that goal there are many mistakes in football and EPL is no different i'm sure.
He might not be able to do what he does at the EPL all the time but there is always that room for error sometimes we are humans not machines.

Saying henry is better then all Arsenals strikers i say maybe as a super sub like drogba but not a player to bring for the full 90min.

agree with Dynastian98 pov. it's different league with different style of play. it's not impossible for him to do it in EPL but it is true that scoring are much easier in the MLS.

saying he's better than all Arsenal striker is just pffftt. like salahadin said. in Arsenal, Henry can be our super sub like past season. as for now, no spot for him.

I try to stay on topic haha!

Claims that Henry wouldn't have scored that goal on BPL are ridiculous and idiotic, nothing else to say on that.

Thierry isn't same type of player he used to be - he's more like a feeder, but scores goals at times. Why? I guess because his team don't have proper #10 role player nor great playmaker to feed Henry. Also Bradley Wright-Phillips has been super awesome this season, and Thierry has been really great at that role, because he's complete football player.

About Arsenal - Henry conversation. 1st of all, he won't come back (to play) he's confirmed. But he'll be back 100% sure for any role inside Arsenal FC after he has retired. I'd have loved to see him back, he'd be useful imo atleast for cup games. But also he'd make huge impact as a sub too, he's hell of a player still. He's so much ahead of the other MLS players mentally, he's just a genius.
It looks like he'll quit soon sadly :/ at times when you just look at his celebrations, it really looks like he hasn't got that much motivation anymore. I'd love to see him NOT retire yet.. He has lot to offer still.

To boys ahead of me commenting, try to stay positive and smile more :) I also hate these 'trolls' that cares more about bandwagon rather than football and it obviously makes this place lot worse. But maybe you should just ignore. I've learned that ppl won't change, no matter how much you try to make them more mature:P

When I said he's better than any Arsenal striker yeah, I meant as a super sub, but on those 30 min he might play, he can do more than any Arsenal striker can in 60 or 90. Its just the player that he is, not trying to say that all Arsenal strikers are complete garbage, but the influence and presence that he can bring into the field. Plus he still hasnt lost his touch.
@Dyna fanboy4life. If those defenses in the EPL were as good as you make them, we would never see 6-7 or even 8 goals in a game.

@manchesterutI he came back 2 seasons ago, and already then you could see his limitations. He scored a winner in extra time which was amazing, and that goal against leeds, but he was not given time on the ball, and in the EPL it was evident that he was not sharp enough anymore. He was a useful player at the time because we were in a very bad situation in terms of strikers, but right now like I said earlier he wouldn't make the bench.
