Back with another GotW post, summing up the best of the goals from across the big leagues, this weekend. Sorry I didn't get any done last week, but I had some family stuff to suddenly take care of. :/

Anyways -- some real crackers scored this past weekend!

Gotta give some honorable mentions to a whole ton of players, but, in the en only 3 can make the shortlist. Seriously though, do yourself a favour and go check out the games highlights in which these were scored; it's a real treat. Special mentions, then, go to:

Just LOOK at that! Possibly the goal of the month, let alone the week. Absolute beauty, and to think he's only 21 years old! Could be that something special is brewing, down at the Cottage...

1. WILSHIRE (Arsenal) vs Norwich City

Now, I'm usually very reluctant to put team-play goals on the GotW, because I feel they should be about individual brilliance, but, this one is just too good to miss. Much as I always hate having to put Arsenal up here... just wonderful football. It's like watching the Arsenal of old.

1. CAVANI (PSG) vs SC Bastia

What a shame we won't be seeing him play at next summer's World Cup; what a talent he is. Amazing jinking run after coming on for Ibra, and with simply perfect technique that you can't really see until you see it from above.

and this week has at least 2 serious contenders for Puskas goal of the year, making it impossible to decide which is the best.. But Ill just say Wilsher's goal deserves it because the other two were purely individual plays.

In the Honorable Mentions, at the top. Slick as it was, I don't think it ousts any of the ones chosen.

I like these threads Lodatz. If you can add more GIF's that'd be great. What's even better is that you were forced to put an Arsenal goal in there *cue evil laughter*
