Back with this week's GOTW thread. There wasn't that much to choose from, I felt, this week, in terms of outstanding strikes, but some impressive goals were there to be found, all the same.

After the epic win at the weekend by Porto over Benfica, I think there was only going to be one winner this week, but, please pipe up if you think there was one I missed that was better! (disclaimer: I can't find any footage of any Bundesliga matches this week -- all have been taken down -- so don't hold any German goals against me!)

Special mention to Grillo (Siena) vs Napoli, and Guerra (Valladolid) vs Deportivo La Caruna, both of which were exquisite technique, but just didn't beat out the 3 I've chosen, in my mind.

@JuanMata: It was important, sure, but I felt not that impressive, really, in terms of quality.

Kelvin, you lovely boy! Tremendous compassion for Benfica though.

Perhaps Maloney's goal vs Arsenal could get a mention. Very similar to the third one. Nevertheless, good list as usual. :)

3 of them are great, but Kelvin's goal was the most important in terms of goal value just as much as Ivanovic's late goal :)
