So, this guy is the new president of the Fifa, right? Anyone want to talk about it? I heard that one thing he wanted to do if he was elected was expanding the number of team in the world cup to 40. I think that could be interesting, what do you guy think about it?

He hasn't really officially done anything yet, so there is not much to discuss at the moment other than the joy we all have that Blatter isn't president anymore. In a year or so we could have a good discussion about him.

@LVG Ok, I understand, I still hope he will achieve his goal of expanding the number of team for the WC. :D

Corruption will always be there. I hope that he will do it way less.

Another muppet of the big heads. I bet he will satisfy us with few changes just to throw ash in our eyes and then he will show his true face.

Don't get your hopes up lads. There is a moto here in Greece. You need to cut all the Hydra heads the same time not 1 by 1 because by the time you cut 1 other 2 will grow.

I am negative? Yes I am.

@Liomessi10 Indeed that was the main reason I was happy when I heard he was the one appointed.

@Joze But then lad, are you saying you would rather have had Sheikh Salman as the new president? Well, I wouldn't be completely suprised if you said you didn't liked any of the Candidate. :P

I would have preferred if they brought in an outsider. But that would've been too much to expect, it is FIFA after all.

@Emobot7 I would prefer someone like Beckham, or even yourself. Someone that I feel sympathy not a person in a suit and a tie with a fake smile.

I mean I am sick of those pretenders, IF you get what I mean :)

Someone who would bring back passion over money and not allow players to become more and more greedy with 300k+++ week wages. Someone to set a maximum wage and use all those corrupt money to improve football in every country, sooo actually I want someone who cares about the people of football and football not his personal ambition and pocket :)

@JozeMourinho I totally understand what you mean and agree with you. I'm trying to be see the good side of thing with this news, but you are right, I doubt he will make the kind of change necessary to make football more fair or to improve it in different coutry. You know what, that make me think we should make a thread in wich we would note all the change we would do if we were the one in power at the fifa.
