It will be a great loss to the EPL.

Feel sorry for the Liverpool fans.

If Leichester City don't get relegated he might go there and that will be pretty awesome.

@Bluezz

There's more to Gerrard than that unfortunate slip. How about this one? FA Cup Final, mind you.

@seymore Don't get me wrong, I've been to Melbourne and its a great place but Man City own their football club too (I think) so they may loan him back to Man City if he goes there.

But I'm pretty sure he'll go to the LA Galaxy. He also said he won't ever play for on of Liverpool's rivals.

@Eden....its ok, I'm messing with you. I can't stand Melbourne anyway. I struggle to watch the league over here. They try and get some players in to spark it up like Robbie Fowler, Del Piero, Cassio....but its still not great to watch!

Yeah, Damien Duff too. But the Pheonix are doing fine for once, Tyler Boyd who's only 20 looks like a star in the making.

@bluezz I'd say Dynastian seemed pretty calm in his response? And as you said Gerrard is a real legend of English football. Always admired the guy.

I think this year is a right time to leave for Gerrard . Ofcourse perfect scenario would have been leaving last year with EPL title . Also, Liverpool loosing to Chelsea was not the decisive match in the season . Liverpool still had a descent shot at the title and they lost the title at Crystal Palace . Allowing them to comeback . It is just mean from Media to concentrate on his slip .

Sh*t happens .

For us , Terry slipped during CL , but it was Anelka who still could have won the penalties for us . A striker who should have buried that penalty , but he did not .

Gerrard will be greatly missed . I watched his whole career from rise to finish . Admire this player a lot .

Gerrard, one of the great last players left that actually plays for his Jersey. This will leave Liverpool without a heart! As choochoo said ^^ he is a true gentleman!

Gerrard; one of the most loyal players in football. Will miss this legend playing in Europe. I am sorry about that he will play his last European Cup match against us :D
