Heres another pre-match thread. This time, its about one of the most epic quarter final match, Germany vs Italy. It will no doubt be a very interesting game, I think its gonna be a low-scoring game but you never know with those two. Really excited for it. Two of the greatest goalkeeper of the world will also meet once again after their game in the champion league (Bayern vs Juventus, Neuer vs Buffon) and I wonder if their perfomance will be the difference between defeat and victory.

Germany 1-0 Italy is what I expected. I will be surprised if Italy beat the Germans.

@Dynastian Well, Germany does have the better team in my opinion, they also have a very good manager in the person of Joachim Low however, I feel their team have been a bit inconsistent in recent match. Then again, as someone said before, Germany show up in big game, so I'm guessing they are the favorite but I still think Italy can make life though for them. Do you at least agree that it should be a good game? :)

Dynast was right in the hand but I still think when it reached the penality shoot-out, it could have gone both way. Still, Germany deserved to win in my opinion, the goal Italy got was pretty stupid, what was Boateng thinking flailing his arm like that. But still, it was a good game, even more tight than the Poland vs Portugal one. To be sincere, I'm a bit suprised it did end up being a bit of a goalkeeper duel like I said before. Anyway, I got my prediction right for the score at least (1-1).

Was rulling for Italy the underdog of the game until this happened :D
