German team disrespects Argentina

The video essencially shows a few players celebrating in a unique fashion.
Gauchos are the country people of Argentina (farmers). They claim the walk in a hunched over gorrilla style while the germans walk in a supiror proud style.

And then Argentina gets picked on for stupid fans while the actual team here mocks the nation. Not surpised no one posted this sooner.

I think that people take this too much to heart. It's just a celebratory dance. Unless they literally insulted Argentines verbally, there's no need to take offense. Bantering is a part of the game (we see it a lot in England, so no big deal).

When the fans disrespect a single player everyone gets riled up, but when the team disrespects a nation everything is fine?
Its okay that they celebrate after winning, but insulting the nation you beat is disrespectful.

Brazilians vs. Argentinians is different from Germans vs. Argentinians. Brazilians will use any opportunity to pounce on Argentinians, no matter what it is. Personally, the Argentine banter of Neymar's spine is harmless for me, and so is this little celebration.

Please don't make a mountain out of a molehill. The Germans are getting bashed by idiots all the time, claiming that Germans have no right to win the World Cup because they were on the opposition side for two World Wars. If the Germans are okay with all that bullsh*t coming their way, I think you Argentines can take a little bit of a joke.

Well, then I guess it's more serious than I thought. My apologies. Personally speaking, if someone did something similar to mock Canadians, I wouldn't take it too much to heart.

it depends on how you see it. here because of their history, people are always very cautious when it comes to racism or "race superiority" related things. to the point that it even becomes hypocritical at times.

edit: to be honest, knowing the Germans, i was expecting them to pass the line at some point while bragging for the cup. i didn't expect them doing it in this way, but yea. i don't want to go further because it's a very delicate argument that could lead to misunderstandings.

You know the world has gone to shits when you cant even have some god damn banter. Also the idiots who say Germany shouldn't win because they were in the Axis. Well.. so were the previous World Cup winners Italy and Spain, two time finalist Hungary and quarter finalists Romania. Which side you were on in a war of political ideas shouldn't be an issue in sport for christ sake. The things those players aren't even a small portion bad, disrespectful or controversial in any manner.

Why is everyone such a sensitive crybaby nowadays? Just learn how to take banter.

from what I've talked about with germans, this is pretty common song in germany. This has nothing to do with gorillas or monkeys. It's just about the losers being sad about defeat and walking with their shoulders low, and the winners walking proud and being happy. No big deal. And btw this parade is for germans alone. Argentines watching it is totally misplaced and unhealthy.

This is not disrespect, on the contrary I thought the germans were very respectful.

I dont see anything racist or something, each country has its biased songs and there was no Gorrillaz comparison....

And as a French, i always tell my people to let alone History rivalries, History is written by the winners and all what we learned in school about world war 2 reasons are actually bullshit. ( The real History is shocking )

Only the pitch should be important, Argentinian shouldforget about it and turn the page. If you want to win WC you need at least a World class coach, what Argentina lacked.
