Not to disrespect man utd fans but why would these german players move to united when they don't have champions league football next season?
A possibility could appear if Klopp takes the man utd job next season (assuming that david moyes gets fired). Those dortmund players might be interested to work under their current manager.

Hmm. I wonder why Mata came to United when he had other choices.
Maybe it's because players aren't really that shallow and go to clubs only for UCL football.
maybe mata thought that you would get CL football in the end
Why would any one with brain go to this sinking ship when they are playing at a better club like Dortmund? The only way I see this happening is like Mata's case, which is doubling their salary.
@KingHenry
Highly doubt that but who knows. It was mainly because he wanted playing time.
Uhh maybe the fact man utd was the only club that spent 37 pounds to get him? Maybe the fact that Mata wanted first team football and Man utd were the only club that actually offered chelsea money?
Non of the top-clubs who can afford him really needed him. Barca, madrid, Munich didn't really need him and from the rumors, only PSG has some sort of interest but the formation they play in didn't suit mata (or at least from the articles I've read)
Liverpool were in a similar position back then, so it was hard for them to attract top players. Now Man utd could be in a similar situation as the old liverpool.... My how times have changed.....
I think Mata joined United because they were the only club that sent Chelsea an offer.
@heavnduel
Yes. But if he wanted UCL that much, he would've just stayed at Chelsea and see if there were other offers coming in for him, would he not? He would be an amazing addition to any team really.
You said this: "Maybe it's because players aren't really that shallow and go to clubs only for UCL football"
So that's why I gave you the answer (above). Matas case and those german players that are "linked" to Man UTD are two different scenarios.(I'll explain below)
"Yes. But if he wanted UCL that much, he would've just stayed at Chelsea
and see if there were other offers coming in for him, would he not? He

But there were no offers for him (other than man utd) during the winter transfer. He doesn't have all day to wait because it is a winter transfer window. Clubs barely spend money on those windows unless they were desperate for a signing (and man utd was pretty desperate).
He isn't guaranteed to play champions league football let alone premier league matches under chelsea. What's more important for Juan Mata than the UCL is to play for the World cup and he needed to play. If a club like manchester united offered him a starting lineup, he would go right away (which he did). Now after the world cup, he would want to play champions league football, and he probably didn't think Man UTD were in a bad state (as in not pick up point as much as they wanted after acquiring Juan Mata).
Now for those german players (with the exception of toni kroos), they are guaranteed a starting lineup at every game at their club. Why would they want to go to manchester united when they are currently playing in a competitive league and champions league football? Plus, Manchester United can't guarantee to be at least top 4 next season. (Liverpool weren't able to make it to top 4 until now). What makes you think they want to take a risk and play in a club that they can't gurantee to be playing champions league football?
Now for toni kroos, it seems more like he is doing a "rooney" as in he wants more money for his new contract. He has NEVER said he wanted to leave. If anything, it was his agent or his "family" that did the talking. If anything, this sounds like a ploy to get a pay raise, like what rooney has been doing all summer last year.... Plus, I highly doubt Bayern will let him go. He's going to be a crucial player for bayern in the future. His game vs arsenal says a lot. I feel like man utd is chasing another fabregas.... as in trying to get a player that is impossible to get.

One bad season and everyone is going crazy..
United is still a big club and next season we will do well, i knew that we were not gonna do good this season because we got a new manager.
and if you think it in a players perspective, he would want to come to United and make that change that will lead to the title. A player wants to be recognized by people so he will come to United and his determination will lead to victory.
Also i know the manager can't get to the players right now but Moyes needs to figure something out.
If Ozil can go to Arsenal then why can't any other german player come to United. IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!
@heavenduel if Moyes does get fired which he won't and we get Klopp, that would be the most amazing thing

I am aware that Kroos is using United as a leverage to get a better contract. It's been said in United forums all around the internet so nothing new there.
And what makes you think United can't get top 4 next season? Yeah we've had a really bad season but we're too big a club to become like Liverpool and have bad season time and time. It would be foolish to make assumptions like that so we'll have to wait and see.
As for Gundogan and Reus. Listen. I'm not saying they're going to come to United but you act like there is absolutely no chance they would ever come. (Dortmund are also in pretty bad shape too being 16 or so points behind Munich.)
I think you're thinking about this thing too simply. That just because United aren't doing well, players won't come. I like to believe that players would go to a certain club with good intentions and strive to better United's situation.
And I'm pretty sure Mata was aware United were in a really bad situation. I mean yeah, World Cup would be his priority but he wouldn't just go to United for a place in Spain for the World Cup.
U ll see in summer we will sign world best players. Mata is one of the world best too . He proved that. If Man City can attract world's best players than United can attract Universe best!
@WayneRooney, @man_utd, @mladen
Woke up and I see three comments today lol Let's start in order.
@WayneRooney
"United is still a big club and next season we will do well, i knew that
we were not gonna do good this season because we got a new manager. "
[I never meant to say that Man UTD is a small club... They are still a big club, but without champions league football, it will be hard to get world class players because they do want to play champions league football. Unless Man UTD uses money to attract them....
"If Ozil can go to Arsenal then why can't any other german player come to United. IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!"
Is arsenal not a big club? Plus, they had champions league football. This is a total different situation really.](http://footyroom.com/profile/?id=2584)
@man_utd
"And what makes you think United can't get top 4 next season?Yeah we've had a really bad season but we're too big a club to become

If David Moyes continues to manage man utd next season, I can't see them making it to top 4 next season. I remember seeing some man utd fans saying in the beginning of the season that man utd WILL be at least 4th place....but look where they are right now... not even close....
There were similar assumptions from man utd fans early on this season. "Man UTD is too big of a club to not reach 4th place this season"... The fact is, being a big club or not has nothing to do with making to 4th place. Consistency matters and I can't see Moyes doing that....
@mladen
"U ll see in summer we will sign world best players. Mata is one of the
world best too . He proved that. If Man City can attract world's best
players than United can attract Universe best! "
Well the truth is, Man city attracted world class players because of money (until they got champions league football).... If Man UTD wants to attract players during this summer window, they only have money to attract them now. These Players are not "fans" of certain clubs. Playing football is a job for them. Let's say you were working at company A that is current in a good state and they give you benefits & bonuses. There is a company B that is a huge company, but they are in a bad state. They offer you the same position but you don't get any bonuses or benefits,so why would you go there? The only reason you would go is if they offer twice or triple the current wage you are currently getting.
@heavenduel
Oh well. I can't really convince you or anything that United'll finish top 4 next year and vice-versa. So no point in continuing with that.
Earlier in the season, I don't remember any United fans thinking we wouldn't finish top 4 because we're too big a club. We said we're too big a club to become like Liverpool and have recurring seasons where we finish 5th-6th like Liverpool did for the past few seasons.
And Moyes has been unlucky with all the injuries if you've been following United. To think that the poor form is only based on the manager, would be unfair and foolish.
"I don't remember any United fans thinking we wouldn't finish top 4 because we're too big a club"
I think you misunderstood my post. A lot of man utd fans said earlier in the season that they'll at least make it to top 4.
I tried to say that man utd is a big club so they can't imagine man utd not making it to top 4.
"And Moyes has been unlucky with all the injuries if you've been
following United. T"
They have a full squad now and they still can't win.... Fulham? olympiakos? How can you not win with the likes of Rooney, Van persie and Mata? There's a definite problem with the team selection and tactics.
Even the recent games they manage to win, the opponent has had more shots on and off target. Is that Man UTD standards?
"To think that the poor form is only based on the
manager, would be unfair and foolish."
Never said anything like this. All I said that is "If David Moyes continues to manage man utd next season, I can't see them making it to top 4 next season".
But yes, some of the problems are the players not performing. Still, Moyes needs to bring the best out of his players and he clearly wasn't able to this season (apart from rooney and Adnan (can't pronounce his last name)). His team selections hasn't been the best and his tactics hasn't worked out.
IMO Man utd needs a new manager to freshen up a bit, until then, I can't ever see man utd at top 4 (next season). sorry. (Ya... we pretty much changed the topic in this thread...)

Fuck you Moyes need that kind player no position now you need only CB
From:muara10madridsta an ex MU manager when Moyes sacked just calm down muara
German players will defenitely stay where they are. I'm afraid they will lose their performance like Ozil in Arsenal. Plus, by the way United is playing this season, no one will come. Although they need a player like kroos or reus who can be at 100% everytime. But you could say the same over a Dutch, Italian , Brazilian or even a French player.
German footballer are the best set..to get
