I think Baines has shown himself to be Cole's worthy successor. Maybe Gibbs in the future, but right now Baines is quality.

I agree with Troll, Luke Shaw is definitely someone to watch in the future. But at the moment, Baines is the best candidate.

My reason why I pick Luke Shaw is Cole has still got 2-3 years left with England. By the time those 3 years are over, Baines will be 30-31, where as Shaw would have finally shown the world why he is the best LB England has by then. Poor Baines :P.
