FIFA need to start introducing retroactive cards for obvious dives such as these. That will kill off the 'it's just part of the game!' and the 'he's just trying to win' crapola once and for all. When their teams start to suffer for their antics, they'll cut that bullcrap out pretty damn quick, and we'll have a clean sport again.
The saddest part is that people actually defend this nonsense (and always, always do so when it's THEIR team who are benefiting from it).
Iron, Fred, and kirkos : HAVE ALL MY LIKES! :)
I'll believe it when I see it Lodatz. The problem is that the refs have too much power. With so much power, it is very beneficial to the players to try to fool them.
What about shirt pulling? It's the same idea as diving and honestly I think it's worse.
I think it's more that refs are not given enough support, via goal-line technology, and the like. I mean, what is the alternative? Not letting referees have any ability to run the game? O.o
I don't think shirt-pulling is as much of a problem, but it's certainly a foul.
He remembers me CR7 at Man utd ^^.
You could say the same thing for Suarez joining RM. Suarez-Di Maria- Pepe ^^

Do it like the NBA, punish them somehow after the game and after the footage has been reviewed. Some players will still do it, but I guess this the only way to reduce it without slowing the tempo of the game.
But again, today everyone does it, in every league and every game, and every nationality, and apparently not only in football. I'm not defending anybody, I'm just saying people will do anything they can to win.
Right, I'm with retroactive carding. If the video footage shows something outrageous, award cards to them, even if that means it adds up to suspensions.
.
I'm talking about after the game, not during it.
And outrageous would be Neymar's dive, where there is clearly zero-to-minimal contact, and yet he flies up in the air (in defiance of physics, if he had actually been elbowed). That's outrageously clear as a dive, and should be punished, even if the ref made the wrong call at the time.
Lebron payed 6.000$ for his last dive, do you think it will change something ?? Suspensions can't be aplied, i think the punishement should be during the match, it's time for Football to use camera...
I realized this and edited my post.
What about simulation? For example, a foul was committed but the player pretended injury or exaggerated the contact.
Why can't suspensions be applied?
Sounds dificult to judge after games, and stars normally will always be protected as long as FootBall is about money.
what about this
KA ... ME ... HA ... ME ... HADOUKEN !!!
