It is some advertising campaign of some sort, they even have a hashtag for it...
But this is a very interesting topic, if it was real who would the earth be picking to play on our favour if mankind was in danger?

What if this has anything to do with dose people seen wearing black robes at Alianz Arena?
Done some research. There were 11 men in weird robes in the Allianz Arena AND the Stamford Bridge. Think this has got to be a part of a commercial campaign.
(Stamford Bridge)
(Allianz Arena)
Weird...
Aliens Arena
dope video! Franz does raise a good question though, what would the World XI be to take on these aliens and save us all?
But anyway, word doing the rounds is that its some marketing ploy for either adidas or samsung. They also put images of those circles (seen in the chests of the weird dudes) in Rio, New York and someplace in London.
^^ my bad Tuanis..didnt see you had mentioned the same thing about the World XI. I'd hope that it's a two-legged tie though..I'd want an away ticket
Imagine how overpriced a ticket for that match would be, and where would it be at? Who would want to watch what could be the world' s last football match? Imagine an alien stadium... and how big could it be, maybe the tickets would be ridiculously overpriced for the away game. So many questions! I hope someone starts a discussion about this topic.
Thought it would be good to also mention the post mladen did about the small balls around the big ones.
I think it would be bad just to pick the best player in the world on every position and make a team that way (a team with C.Ronaldo, messi , T.Silva, Zlatan etc...) if we need to play a match vs aliens for existence in 1 month time it would be much better to just take the first 11 of the best team on the planet atm, Bayern munchen, even though they might not have the exact best player in the world on exactly every positions they have a really well worked team that play good together and all the players are still top-class.
what do you think?
LOL the extra-terrastial people are Messi's family :D
lol..Messi and Ronaldo wouldn't pass to each other, then Zlatan would zlatan the sh*t out of them for being immature pricks. then Zlatan would score from the halfway line to prove he is the best in the universe..then he'd switch to the alien team, be their captain and help them beat earth in the second leg..then we'll all be screwed! Slavery to the aliens till young Zlatan (Zlatan's kid) rises up to challenge his father in a freestyle match..he wins, and we get earth back!
I have thought a lot about this topic and for once I have to agree with Knibs... A world XI wont play as well as a strong in form Bayer. Unless the World XI has been training together for a veery long time then the smart choice would be to send Bayer or the in form team (with a couple aditions) to represent the Earth.
Regular people arguing about world XI can go arguing for hours, imagine if the world depended on it!
Having Bayern and Chelsea part of this definitely makes this 'mystery' much clearer. It's most likely that Adidas is doing all of this considering Adidas owns big shares of Bayern and have a 10 year deal with Chelsea. Expect some commercial about it to appear soon enough if this keeps going.
^^ Its Samsung, from what I read somewhere.
I just saw this. I hope this is some kind of marketing scheme or something or else I am afraid the Kaiser may have become deluded in his old age. I mean, WTF!
