Recently, I've seen two (great) posts about Gerrard and some other legends. It went on about how Gerrard is one of the greatest midfielders to ever play the sport, and how he has it all to become one of the greatest English legends, if not the greatest. And it is true, he has it all. He is a leader, a goalscorer, a playmaker, a defender, a setpiece-taker, etc. Not only was he born with an incredible natural talent but he has been praised by almost every other legend or world-class professional.

But, as a Chelsea fan - as a football fan, I have never seen a someone as professional and as hardworking as Frank Lampard.

He may have not been born with a god-like natural talent like Gerrard or Pirlo but he earned his reputation as one of the most brilliant footballers ever. He worked hard to stop being known as 'Fat Frank' and become 'Super Frank'. In an interview with Mourinho, he stated whenever Lampard made a mistake or knew he was lacking in something he would spend hours after training practicing and perfecting a new skill. That is Frank Lampard.

He worked hard to make his passing world-class, not as good as Pirlo's, I would say close to Gerrard's abilities.

He worked hard to become equally as good as almost anybody when it comes to setpieces. He mastered his freekick taking from non other than Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola, who mastered his freekick tacking from non other than football legend Diego Maradona.

He is a natural-born leader. Many people often forget how good Lampard's leadership abilities are because our first choice captain is England's best CB, John Terry. But in the Champions League final and Europa League final, who was the captain? Who led our team in these two finals? Frank Lampard.

And his shots... my god his shots. Can you imagine how many hours he spent practicing his shots? His shot taking is better than Gerrard's and Pirlo's, better than any central midfielder. It is insane to see a central midfielder score so many goals. He even became Chelsea's all-time leading goalscorer. A central midfielder did. Scoring 203+ goals to beat Bobby Tambling's record.

He worked hard from being an 11m flop signed by Ken Bates to become one of Chelsea's ever greatest players and arguably football's most professional player ever. Mourinho once interrupted Frank Lampard while he was taking a shower to tell him that he was "one of the best players in the world, but nobody knows yet" and he was right. Before Roman came knocking, Frank Lampard was considered an a flop who has done nothing at Chelsea and will never be as good as Gerrard or Pirlo, who were starting for their clubs before they even turned 20. Well, he has achieved somethings Gerrard and Pirlo will never achieve. That is Frank Lampard for you.

Thank you for everything, Frank. You have served us for 13 years and they have not gone to waste even once. You have led us to glory multiple times in your stay, and I don't care if people think you don't have the natural talent of Gerrard, or the footballing mind of Pirlo, or the pinpoint passing skill of Scholes. I don't care if people will keep calling you Fat Frank. You will always be considered better than any of them by us Chelsea fans, and no one can change our minds on that. No one has struggled and came out on top like you have. Thank you for being Chelsea's hero for these past 13 years.

Well what did overratedinho do? Did he ever score 91 goals a season like messi or score 17 goals in a single UCL campaign like ronaldo? He was very lucky to win ballon dor and the reason why he won so much silverware was cos of a fantastic team.

I love players who answer on the pitch and Lampard is one of them, he is a champion.
Thats why i prefer him to other midle of his generation, who never take revenges from their losses, and flop in every big event...

Everyone that tiki has fought with, has left the forum, at one point or another. The problem has never, ever, gone away. The last year has been spent with tiki taka spewing nonsense onto the board, trolling anyone he does not agree with, and then acting like a naive child whenever he is called upon it.

I left the forum for 4 months. The problem did not go away.

Various other people left the forum for some time, and left titki to claim his throne. The problem did not go away.
