According to Sky Bet former Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp is the big favourite to take over at the Liberty Stadium. The Dutchman is currently the assistant manager to Frank De Boer at Ajax but is now seemingly strongly linked with the vacant post left by Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

The 43 year old leads Graeme Jones, Brian Laudrup and Ian Holloway in the betting and is now as low as 10/11 to take the Swansea City job.

Dennis Bergkamp helped Ajax to an Eredivisie title in his first season as Ajax assistant.

Apparently, the bookmakers have him as favourite?
I think it's too early for him. I would prefer if he stayed on Ajax for a year or two more to really crystalize his ideas and absorb as much as he can from one of the world's best young managers, de Boer. Then maybe he'll have more experience and confidence to take the reins of a premier league club.  After that... future Arsenal manager methinks.
