Football's biggest Problem : Referees ?

Referees are the worst part of football , especially lately. UCL,UEL,EPL and the other leagues have these ridiculous referees. They have only one job and they ruin football. I admit there are some really good referees but not enough. For example In our League (Turkish league) I dont wanna watch football anymore because of them. What do you think about this?

You are correct.

There are situations where we have to sympathize with the referee for, because with one stroke of his hand, he can determine the result of the game. And it's not easy to do that with the massive amount of pressure on you from all the players and the fans in the stadium. The referee is basically one man against an entire army. So it is very difficult for him. But I believe that the referee has been chosen because the FA believes he can work under that pressure, and he became a referee because he believes he can work under that sort of pressure. Therefore, we can justifiably blame the referee when he makes a blatant mistake, but we should be more lenient with judging the softer ones.

Referees are often paid by clubs to make all good décisions to them during their matches. This is the truth, no bullshit. When they're not, they are at 95% uncompetent, bad referees (offside goal, unjustified red card, no fine for fouls...) They have destroyed some teams dreams. Like howard webb in the world cup final.

Indeed!!!!!!!

However, as long as those refs are not bribed and corrupted, I would make an argument to keep technical help as LOW as possible. This is what make football special too. Controversy, tension, rivalry are all part of the game and they help us to enjoy football the way we do today. It just similar to life or relationship, it would be way too boring and sometime "unhealthy" if everything is fair and people are just hug, be nice etc... Not to mention, tech help during the game would slow down everything and break the game apart.

Without controversy, there would be only 1/3 of the media article relates to football and football would lost its spark to some other sports.

Do you know why Mourinho is insanely entertaining whereever he goes, hate him or love him, the guy is a genius and a smart-sick-mouth... media loves him. He brings controversy and influences refs on his own legal way (Sir Alex did a lot too).

I would only prefer to have "tech help" if there is a brutal fouls, goal-line tech. And there should be a "biggest possible" fine that make no refs or any organization dare to bribe or corrupt

#expertfootball11 Yes there are very big mistakes that destroyed teams but I dont think they are paid. Of course there are things like that we dont know but not often. Referees can make mistakes . They are people too, so like Dynastian98 said we should be more lenient with judging the softer mistakes. And #tuan_jinn maybe you are right about tech. That can make the game slower, but should be used by referees. For example Are you following basketball ? Im watching Euroleague games. They are using this tech and its really helpfull, and not slowing down the game maybe its because Basketball :) About Mourinho I know about his tactical mind he is really genius :)Anyway thank you for your answers :) Sorry I couldnt send this answer yesterday This thing says "New members can comment/post 2 times per day. I love watching sports other than football, and almost all of them have the camera when they is a point like in ice hokcey or tennis. I don't know what this idiot Blatter waits to put those cameras. It's really frustrating. It actually just gives the impression that the budget for football is low, which is not the case.

Wasn't easy for the referee to see if it was Ox or Gibbs. Still shameful though.
