£24 mil is the price United paid as a transfer fee.

Which I guess is the reason to why good defenders are so damn expensive nowadays.. Just last year Everton asked for somewhere around £40m for Stones..

I also heard that united might have paid even more for Bailly.. truth or not, I don't know, but I read about figures around £28-29m.. Guess he's young and enough of a talent to force the price up, so Villareal wouldn't had let him go for anything close to his real current value..

There are for sure some bonuses for Vilarreal if United wins something.
btw. the transfer fee is actually 38 mil. €
