I still haven't bought any of them yet, apparently PES improved a lot this year and FIFA added women teams. I was going to buy FIFA, but now I'm not sure because of good reviews from PES. Which game is the best football simulator? Which is the most realistic game? I also like playing 1v1 online seasons if that helps.

Fifa is would say, eventhough some people will think I am Bias, but I tried both.

If you love realistic football then get Fifa 16 it's by far the best Fifa release. I might be bias since I've been playing fifa since 94 but I also played Pes with friends back in time and I know the differences. Fifa 16 is a total new experience.

It depends a lot on the gamemodes you play. Ive never played PES other than kick-off with my friends so I might not be the best one to ask. But FIFA has some cool game modes like Ultimate Team or even the manager/player career on its favor. Both are very similar in gameplay, maybe PES has better graphics but It is hard to tell so it is not a big difference.

Ive seen people who used to have PES and now they only buy FIFA, never seen the oposite case, if that helps.

Ultimate team is really *hit this year. But online seasons with normal teams are perfect.

PES 2016 : the pass Much more fluid, star players with their exact caracteristcs, Costa is a tank, Messi a dribblé monster Ronaldo wins duels, graphics are better, better game play. You play with Chelsea if you are leading they get fierce defensively....

Nah nah.... FIFA 11 is the best FIFA by far in terms of gameplay.

The pes 2015 had some negatives like pass fluidity and some weird long passes at times, fifa 2015 was clearly better. If you already have fifa 2015 buying Pes is the better option, cheaper and more intuitive, good balance between players ability and realism. I stopped playing football games since Pes 2008 but all my friends adviced me to buy Pes 2016 i tested both and its really a pleasure to play the last Pes in term of teams identity and the tactics or players you play with. They remain head to head overall but you should buy the game most of your friends have :)

Fifa is staying better overall (modes, online, ultimate team, COPYRIGHT!!!!). PES used to be superior 7 years ago.

But PES2016 is getting back on their game play, for realistic PES is still better.

To sum up: With Fifa, you are more likely to break your controller

FIFA 16 is easily my favorite FIFA game of all time. However, I also really enjoy playing PES 16 because of the Champions League :)

Would play Fifa 16, but my gaming pc isn't strong enough and origin is just too annoying for me. Took pes cause I needed an alternative and I gotta say I liked it very much. Here are the major strong and weak point of both game though from what I heard from other player.

PES
Pro: Good gameplay with huge focus on the midfield and possesion game, great graphic especially for the player, player and team mostly play like their real live counterpart and the gameplay is easier to master.
Con: Not a lof of league compared to fifa (lack Bundesliga), some of the player rating just doesn't make sense, online can get pretty bad and unbalanced, some player look better than other (Crouch still have the same face he had in older pes game for exemple), non-realist master league (older player who retire come back as youth or Ramos who alway end up leaving Madrid for Barca and PSG)

Fifa
Pro: Lot of customisation option in difficulty thanks to the slider (make the opponent striker less precise or the defense less fast, ect...), lots of league and player, better interface and music, training in career mode, feminine team.
Con: Game feel too similar (a lot of people say they feel like they alway score the same kind of goal and that team all feel the same), online can be pretty unfair, can be very frustating at time.
