Possibly? Aside from the defense, they'd probably smash them. (depending on the manager though)
^ :D On the BR Report title it didn't say possible, but I added to stop aguments.
@Vendetta That defence is way better than that of today.
Maybe if it was Brown and O'Shea in their prime. Pique is definitely good, and who the hell is Heinze?
Heinze was one of the best left backs in the world. Argentine fellow. Played for United for 4 years, and was their player of the season in 2005.
Then he played for Real Madrid for 2 years. Won the title, too.
Fancy you not knowing, V-man...
@V how you don't know Gabriel Heinze? :O
Maybe Gabriel Heinze is not as respected because he tried to push a move for Liverpool due to a lack of playing time and had a dispute with Fergie who sold him to R. Madrid. He expressed his regrets for doing so recently, so no harm done. All that aside, he was a really good defender, not just as left-back but also at center back.
I barely even remember him... How weird...
If it wasn't for Ronaldo I would say there is no way they could beat the actual squad. Maybe if al of them were in their prime it could be a tight game. And I had no idea Rossi was a united player.
I remember Heinze's little push on the camera in the WC at South Africa. The guy can be pretty hot-tempered at times.
Brown and Oshea can't last a full season. I would never trust morrison, I don't like Forlan upfront. Also Tim Horward meh.
