The new crest is on the right. Thoughts?

That's because it's not really a tall, thin tower...

Their design for Prince Rupert's tower is much more on spot than the previous one.

This a travesty of epic proportions. Have they been speaking to Arsenal's PR department or what? They've dropped their Latin motto and made the badge look like a cartoon. The same thing Arsenal did a couple of years back, while claiming that "fans opinions were taken into consideration" = utter BS (they never did).
Their is a backlash from the fans already, just as there was from us, but I fear their efforts will be just as futile.

The way some clubs disregard/belittle their own tradition & heritage just shows how far out of tune modern boards are from fans. I didn't expect this from a club like Everton...

As an Art director I like the new design more, but I also agree with Heisinburg, It looks like a fast food logo now.

You can not just destroy a tradition like that. something that means alot to many supporters...

Well, my clients generally don't complain about my works.
Btw, if you have eyes, and know a bit about the subject, you can easily see that the colors in the old version are very ugly and clearly don't match together, you know it's a simple thing about the triangle of colors and about the use of opposite colors to get something that match together.
