I'm baaack :P!

Just wanted to post this thread talking about the exciting bout between Everton and Chelsea!

All I can say about the match is, Holy **** it was amazing. 5 goals in 10 minutes, that is what the Premier League is all about!

What were your opinions on the match?

.... Poor Everton. Chelsea's doing great but so is Everton. Right now every Chelsea fan is pumped up and Chelsea fans all over Footyroom are going to be arrogant for quite some time until some team is going to win them and then all the lame excuses are going to come but right now they seem to be going for the title and might even get it. Diego Costa and Fabregas are absolutely amazing together and Ramirez needs to play more because he is pretty good still.

Costa proving all EPL fanboys wrong! These performances are to those who said that Costa would struggle in the EPL because he came from La Liga. If he wins EPL Golden Boot at the end of the season, it will be very well deserved. :)

I didnt get to watch the entire game but this was a game full of bad decisions and mistakes by the refs. In the end it didnt really favour any team but I thought EPL had the one best refereeing out of the best leagues in Europe...

Also, What do you guys think about the Coleman-Costa issue that went on in the match?

This was the best game in a long time, I feel sorry for anyone that missed to watch every minute of it. Bad refereeing though but nevertheless the game was very enjoyable to watch.

@Tuanis We all know Costa's attitude. Coleman started it so he gets what he deserves. I say he is a nice player but just don't piss him off because he got a temper problem. Between me and you "I would rather to have a warrior upfront than a striker who always gets bullied and don't react to anything" in other word (.........)

I wish I had gotten up for it. This looks like it was a fantastic advertisement for the excitement of the PL. Fair play to Chelsea for scoring 6 on the road, and Everton for not giving up and fighting for the points. I actually thought Mirallas and Naismith's goals were the best of the lot.

Quality technique. Something of a trademark in this league. :)

@Dynast:

Oh my. The obviousness of your trash talk.

"Costa proving all EPL fanboys wrong!"

So, Costa is, let me get this straight, proving "wrong" people who are fans of the PL? Is that what this sentence means? If so, then please explain. I am curious as to what part of being a fan of the PL is being contradicted by Diego Costa scoring some goals at the beginning of the season.

"These performances are to those who said that Costa would struggle in the EPL because he came from La Liga."

Are they? Seems to me like he's playing to impress his new fans, actually, and justify his price-tag. And, while this reminder might be a little blunt, perhaps we shouldn't forget:

It's a lonnnnng season, bud.

Remember when Arsenal were going to win the league, Barcelona were going to win a trophy, and Italy were going to be semi-finalists?

Judging a season's performance by 2 or 3 games is not a solid move, in my book... ;)

@Lodatz Don't jinx it :) I want him to score in every match at least 1 goal! He's been impressively splendid! And hopefully he will win PL player of the year with the golden boots award.
