in EPL title race, i think liverpool and city have slightly more chances than us to win it. city have 2 games in hand, with 4 points behind liverpool. liverpool have only EPL games to focus on while we have CL and EPL games.

mourinho's target for this season is automatic qualification for CL next season and i think its safe to say we have achieved that. therefore, i would love to see chelsea focus on winning the CL. of course its better if we can win both EPL and CL :)

He has got a big squad so I expect him to be using other players in the league games against lower teams like Swansea so the big players can rest for the CL games.

This is why Chelsea has such a big squad... it's amazing.... sometimes you don't even realise they had those players.

well good question, considering Worldcup is comming, Im sure those heavy game and important games in both CL and EPL would take their toll on Chelsea's performance, the worst scenario is you wouldn't win any of it (that might very well be the case when we look at other teams in CL). Best of luck

Not simple decision :
For CL : You have your destiny in hands, but you need to beat 2 great rivals with a strenght you never faced it before...
For EPL : You depend on other teams result, but competition is lower than the competition in CL...
CL is definitely more prestigeous then a League title, but you will have to face the best team in Europe : Bayern and the best squad in Europe : Real Madrid and the most motivated and disciplined players in Europe (Best defense) : Atletico Madrid....

OMG !!!! WE ARE DOOMED !! Dejavu I heard this before in 2012 .... LOL did not we beat one of those " monster strengths " in final of CL right after they teared apart another "monster strenght" ? Then we again with 10 men almost took them out in SUper Cup only for them to score in extra time of EXTRA TIME . Did not that "monster strength" struggled to beat struggling "ex monster " .... and north London team that lost to every top club away but managed to pull a draw in this monster strenght home ...

Atletico that played Chelsea was absolutely different , so was the Chelsea trying to play pretty football which turned out in embarrassment by Falcao not Atletico . Falco was the monster . Unfortunately , our monster was gone to China that time and we were left with "Chiwawa " striker that turns into lion few times a year .

Just because Atletico beat Barcelona does not make them strengths we never faced before . lol In fact , I would have prefered to play Barcelona , because Atletico has balance in their team and our goalkeeper .

Real Madrid is one that posses threat because of their style , which to me still looks like Mourinho team . However, I am sure Mourinho will find solution .

Either way , no one is favorite at the moment . All the teams are equal and any team can be beaten on the match day . Whatever happened before semi final does not matter and it does not matter who was enjoying more successful season , because when match starts there will 90 min and the team that comes with the best plan will win it .

As far as EPL , it is totally up to Liverpool and City to fck it up . Even we win all our games they have to drop points so we can have a chance especially City .

And grow some humility. Atletico beat you fair and square 4-1. Falcao scored the hat-trick, but what did Chelsea do? Nothing. Because Atletico's defense was already so well-organized. Give credit where it's due.

We can't win the EPL... We lost it by losing the games against villa and palace.. And looking at man city's and Liverpool's form,they won't drop that many points..I really thought we could win it this season.
For the CL I think we will progress to the final (I AM NOT UNDERESTIMATING ATLETICO) I know Atletico are
Dangerous but we are dangerous too. And for the 4-1 defeat I admit the defeat, but trust me this is gonna be a very different scoreline.

nothing is impossible, remember we scored 2 goals at camp nou with only 10 men against the best ever barcelona team (in my opinion), then snatched the cup at bayern's home?

anyway, this season, if we win any trophy, it will be a bonus, mourinho's main objective this season was to give experience to his players, he has been talking about beautiful eggs that need care and love, little horses that need milk and learn to run..this was funny, but its true.

i will expect chelsea to be main title contenders next season, when our players are familiar with mourinho's tactic and have that winning mentality.
