1. Michael Carrick, Manchester United Position: Deep-lying Playermaker

3. Yaya Toure, Manchester City Position: Surging defensive midfielder
   

4. Coutinho, Liverpool Position: No. 10
5. David Silva, Manchester City Position: No. 10
   

I put in Silva and Rooney anyways because no one can doubt their talent (despite them not having all that great of a season).

^Lol but you stated your top ten is based on last season alone. They shouldn't be in it just because they have a large amount of talent. They should be in it when they've performed well enough in a season. For example, Michu should be there.

Vertonghen was a great choice for number 10 :). By far the best CB last season in the EPL.

^ He can play LB too, so that's another brilliant move from Spurs. Ajax sure as hell have an awesome academy (again, all thanks to Cruyff).

This list is weird, they used their own technique to make it, and i dont think this list is from last season because new players that recently came to EPL are on it
